What are our realistic first week sales for this album (considering the controversy surrounding Lana right now)? I'm thinking ~90k, could debut with 100k but unlikely.

Depends on the promotion. I think 30k-60k. Katy barely shifted 40k. So doubt Lana can do much better.

I can't see her going from 104k to 30-60k but who knows. That would be horrible though.

no, lana wont drop from 104k to 30k. shell deffo do better than katy, im expecting another 100k or so. lanas sales have been quite stable, they have only dropped by about 9% since 2015

Lana has a much bigger fan base than Katy 

 

katys career died because pop radio stopped spamming her songs and once that left she didn’t really have any die hard fans. 
 

NFR did like 100k, so I think it’s reasonable to assume that COCC can do like 80-90k, and if the reviews are good and word of mouth spreads it could do a little more

I hope she releases COCC before November, bc I'm worried that after Trump loses the election, he'll quickly release a cover of "Viva La Vida" on all streaming platforms--and it will overshadow Lana's album...
