As it's been said before his wording kinda made it sound like the video would come out after the poetry book? I'm not fully d*lulu, but I think there might be still hope that we get at least a single before October?

I think we were so excited about the magazine and BTS that we let that cloud our judgement. Let’s not forget many magazines had the wrong days for NFR, and she did plenty of photo shoots and interviews months and months and months before the album was announced. 
 

yes, it’ll come ‘soon’ but, as per the last 2 eras, we have absolutely no idea when soon is and concrete information at all

im taking his post extremely literally. 
 

he said the video was coming soon and to buy Violets, which is coming out first

 

if he wanted us to pre-order the book he would have said that but I unfortunately think he’s being very literal and direct when he says the book is coming out before anything

I think she's gonna drop LMLYLAM this month like she did with mac or vb, then violet and then the tittle track with the MV in october, and then the album. She realeased fiily/tg only a week before the album so she may do that again. But LMLYLAM is def coming this month, i don't think she's going to release lmlylaw, the tittle track and the album on the same month (october) it's too much.

OK so here’s a recap post with conclusions based on new information: 

 

- Ben says to get the book before the COTCC video comes out - he says the book comes out September 26th, but it’s the 29th. So, COTCC video is coming after 9/29

 

- Lana says we will hear LMLYLAW before the video for COTCC drops, and the album comes out “soon”, but reiterates 9/29 for Violet. So, the album is coming after 9/29 and LMLYLAW could come at literally any point before the COTCC video drops, which is no earlier than 9/29. 
 

- Lana and Jack’s interview happened right after Violet was released as an audiobook, so she knew she was going to be focusing on poetry for a minute; Violet will officially be fully released by October 2nd, so it’s reasonable to assume that music will start coming out after October 2nd. The journalist who oversaw Lana’s cover story likely wasn’t told anything about the release date and just added “out this month” (September) despite no album-related activity because September 5th wasn’t disputed until the day actually came, and as we know, this cover story’s pictures happened in late June/early July and the actual interview happened in the last days of July, so at that point, September 5th was still on. 
 

My guess is that LMLYLAW will come the week of October 5th, with the pre-order coming the week of October 19th, the COTCC video coming the week of October 26th, and the album coming on Friday, October 30th.

This whole book release is so terribly done, the biggest marketing mistake ever. Do they not realise that trying to advertise a damn POETRY book when 99% of your fan base is on the edge of their seats waiting for music is the worst possible scenario ever. Like what were they thinking? Lana made it worse by announcing an album and not following through on the said date, so now everyone is anticipating music but are also incredibly frustrated, so any talk of this annoying ass poetry book (which we already have in a more interesting format, such as an audiobook) is only going to bore people completely. Like nobody wants to hear about the book anymore. We want the music!

 

They should have advertised this whole poetry book AFTER the albums release. Or just got it all out of the way back in July or something. I just, dont understand what they are trying to achieve here. It's such a fucking mess.

at this point, even i have to admit that the album probably isn't coming until at least the beginning of october! quite a bummer, i was so assured that it would come out this month. 

 

but let's look at this in a positive light, the album aesthetic and the spooky, fall vibes of october could go together incredibly well, i know this is a bit far away, but a halloween release could be iconic, but i personally think it will come sooner than that.
