It's such a soothing and comforting album. We needed this for getting through the pandemic, Thank You Lana! It feels like a beautiful gift. Lana has never gotten enough credit with how beautiful her work is, her whole discography is this and far apart in this way from others, she should be proud of that, it IS truly something to behold.

I think its so interesting how Breaking Up Slowly comes right after Yosemite and (if we're looking at this album as being written about Sean ) that after going through the whole album as their relationship and finally finding that kind of love that Yosemite represents, they break up. Which honestly makes me feel really sad for her, that she felt that in love but it didn't work out (kinda glad tho, and clay is much better haha)

But I also think its cool that the last three songs are about her friends/her pack

And I hope she is able to find that same kind of love Yosemite is about with clay too

Last night I finally connected with Yosemite Was a little disappointed at first, it was nice and sweet but felt distant, but now...can’t stop crying, it’s just so powerful and present. Especially the “how deep was the canyon that you came from” part.
