I feel sort of the same way. I was really hoping it’s her song because 1) it’s really good and 2) it means Lasso is still on track for a September release. This was supposed to be that smash bop first single. 3 months lead to the album release is standard.

 

Now that’s it’s not really her song (as a lead artist). It means it’s not the first single, and Lasso is definitely not coming in September . Unless they decide to drop the album with no singles, which I doubt they would do that. And back to a piano snooze first single mefears. I’m still excited for the song. I just wish it was hers.

 

Tbh, I’m really surprised it’s not hers. She sings 80% of it . This is really another Stargirl Interlude.
