After the initial shock of this album not being even slightly what I expected, I’m growing to like it. After my first play through I was sure I’d never listen to it again, but on the 2nd and 3rd listen, knowing what to expect, I like it more than I thought I would

So I just finished the album and this is not what I expected especially after the two singles we got… if I’m being honest I’m disappointed. Abracadabra should rest easy knowing she’s the best song on the album.

Was inspired to make a more Gaga version of Die With A Smile

I did use ai to replicate gaga's voice in the part: Cause you already know what you mean to me

but thats the only ai I used cause I couldn't for the life of me isolate them separately

Anyways the instrumental is a mix of the acoustic and regular

i lowkey agree. i dont hate the artwork but im so heavy on it when i say it just feels like a random ass photo. i've made some of mine own covers which i dont think are any better or representative of the music but i like the alt covers too, some of them anyway. mainly the hmv/target one

Yk what EDIT just hit my cart, listened to Shadow Of A Man (SOTY) again and decided it’s actually not too early to say this is AOTY, this is top 3 Gaga albums for me most likely idk where exactly it’ll go but it’s soooo good.

I wanna add this isn’t what I thought the album would be but I fucking LOVE 80s rock and there’s a lot of that influence in here, I was absolutely GAGGED when Killah was giving Bowie and not ARTPOP pt 2.

From what I've heard so far (Die With a Smile, Diease, Abracadabra) i would say Aoty but that can be subject to change

Well, the album certainly isn’t the industrial gothic dreams record Gaga has been talking about it’s more early 80s neo funk outside of 3 songs. 

 

I’m actually screaming at how everyone thought Die With A Smile wouldn’t fit, but it’s more indicative of the album than Abracadabra  ….. why does this album photoshoot look like a metal record, gurl 

 

Tbh though the album is actually VERY good. Big disco pop funk choruses, the production is fantastic on nearly all the tracks.

 

Perfect Stranger, LoveDrug, Shadow, Zombie,  Abra, Disease, all amazing.

 

Perfect Stranger should be single 3, not Eden. 

 

Vanish is the only meh track. The rest is cute or good.
