i thought a halsey collab was coming for a hot second

She always looks so awkward dancing. It's the cutest thing and yet so strange as someone God blessed with such musical ability moves like the single person at a high school dance.

I love the "Love" promo poster and wish she would do more of that kind of promotion (looking at u EdTap/BenTap!!)   Here's my take given her recent trip to the Eric Lloyd Wright house...

n e ways... I kinda have a feeling this is gonna be a good era, even if I’m not so much a fan of the music (I love cinnamon girl but I don’t need it twice). because of the quarantine she isn’t obligated to go out and meet fans at pop up shops, do interviews, or even performances/a tour for the foreseeable future. I think it’ll make her feel more confident knowing she doesn’t have to do those things and maybe she’ll be more active on insta (honeymoon pls :deadbanana:) etc. idk, I feel like after her question for the culture and everyone on twitter saying she looks racist cuz she’s blonde there’s really no hope for good (or at least fair) ratings or reviews sjsgzgzb I hope she realizes this and keeps her idgaf attitude for the next record. I love conch of verse E
Edit: also what are we expecting for merch this era? any ideas?

I'm excited for costco is a stunning place for a woman like me to be - but I have to be very aggressive 

It's getting weird boring...
 

Not sure actually. Excitement at first to hear something from this album but... I’m used to Lana’s albums sounding differently from the previous ones. UV sounds nothing like BTD and Paradise, HM sounds nothing like UV etc, but they all sound so “Lana”, you know? So I expected COCC to sound nothing like Norman, but since I liked the album so much... I don’t think I’ll mind the sound that much? They wrote some brilliant songs together after all.
I’m not really feeling the lyrics though but we’ll see. At first I thought it might have something to do with me being an atheist but then again, I love GKIT and Gods and Monsters.
So I suppose I’ll see how I feel once we get to hear it all.  I’m a bit mixed right now.

It’s kinda funny because that’s how I feel about Norman, and after hearing the TJF snippet that sounds like Cinnamon Girl I was kind of disappointed that it sounds like we might be getting the same thing twice. NFR is still a great album by all means, but it just doesn’t do anything for me personally  how did you feel about the snippet then as a fan of Norman??

That it won’t live up to the previous albums. Norman is like up up there for me, same with her other albums, I just don’t want it to be another album I try to like so hard but then never/rarely go back to.

oh well, at least she’s doing it for charity purpose

COCC will be out sept 4th, on sept 5th she’ll announce its follow up coming august 2021 and the circus will be in town for another year.

Charity work?  Nah, working with Halsey sounds more like community service or hard labour. Nobody does that by choice.
