Not sure what’s gotten into me, but I haven’t been able to get Blue Banisters (the song) off repeat. I never connected much with it before these past couple days. 

Omg I gave my mom the cd and we just listened to the whole thing, she was blown away 

I couldn't care less about Lana's tracklists being cohesive. If I like the songs, that's all that really matters to me. I think that's part of why I love Lust for Life despite so many people hating it

I personally still find her lyrics to be relatable despite them becoming more personal. I don't think relatable has to mean "omg it's me she's singing about!" but instead being able to relate to the emotion behind it. 
 
I also don't want/need to be able to insert myself into all art. One of the best things about good storytelling is exploring that world and discovering the little details and connections to uncover a deeper meaning, that you can then apply to your own life and learn from if you choose to. As Lana's writing becomes increasingly personal, she's inviting us to dive even deeper into her life and discover things about her, that also reflect her observations of the world at large, and for me at least it makes her consistently thrilling to listen to.

There’s nothing too exciting about a simple life with a child in a backyard and yet here you are in a fansite of hers. Do you enjoy being a contrarian just for the sake of being? How can you even fathom the idea that the songs in these past 3 records aren’t complex just because it doesn’t suit your Lolita fantasies? How can you say she’s not experimenting with her sound when you have TB, Dealer and BBS as prime examples of an experimentation within her own sound? At this point you’re just babbling things that make virtually no sense. Just say you’re not as interested in the themes she’s exploring and move on?

The thing that I hate about the Azealia Bank's discourse is that Azealia is pretty much harmless and everything she has ever done was limited to talking shit online, at least that I know of (please correct me if I'm wrong)
 
Compare that to Nicki Minaj, who claimed that her husband's victim was white (she's black) to make her look like a racist white woman who wanted money and continues harassing her online and literally called her and all her family to scare them out of speaking out
 
And that's not even counting the plethora of abusers and r*pists she has platform
 
I know Azealia has said a lot of very, very ugly stuff (the transphobic remarks to Arca and SOPHIE are disgusting) but I feel like people are not intellectually honest when we talk about her

I’m fine with Lana just taking her time to do her thing and feed the chickens and make birthday cakes for a while. 
 
Blue Banisters was such a beautiful gift. I think for everyone taking a step back is pivotal and looking at where we are it is so important so I hope that within this pause Lana finds her next step for whatever she wants to do. 
 
Would be down for some more Honeymoon chats for sure tho- here and there. That was so nice of her. Thoroughly enjoyed it. 

I love when she mentions music she listens to or books she reads, movies she likes, etc. I keep screenshots of them all afterward! I think someone had a thread of all her mentions over time — we should add yesterday’s to that!!

Wow people really have become so comfortable critiquing every single little thing Lana does and doesn't do. From her hair clip to her performance. I wonder why is that 
She sounded and looked great, it was prerecorded (which is common nowadays), get over it. I don't understand why people (especially fans) hold Lana to a higher standard than everyone else as if she owes you anything.

I'm also so glad that the fans that went on were MEGA fans. She looked so happy and comfy!! Hope she does more of these in the future  Gave really interesting insight into the making of BB too and also I feel desperate again since she mentioned her next album being only digital, as in, I'm already dreaming about the next one now

From my place in line, I see only black and white shirts that seem to be the blue banisters ones but they’re still far from ready 
There was a man yelling at the workers as he was annoyed people were waiting in line for it and not his business 

Edit: omg I just realized I sound so negative on this thread, that’s not what I meant  I think it’s super cool that they’re working with you like this, and I hope they continue to do so!! I guess it’s just a little confusing to read “exclusive” “reached out to lanaboards” thinking it would be something we could all participate in but that’s my own fault for poor reading comprehension and getting ahead of myself   N e ways those of u that are going better take tons of pics.
