Personal/sorta off-topic-ish, but I just realized that Aug. 30th is exactly one year since this dude I was head over heels for dumped me out of nowhere. MAC was SO comforting to me and helped me through that time. I had that ish on repeat for weeks. And now here we are a year later getting the entire album...her mind. Dis bitch really always coming through and being there for us at the most perfect times, huh?!
 
Anyways - to fit with the campy aesthetic, what if as part of merch she sold like an Insta Baddies essentials kit sort of thing? Neon fake nails like the cover’s + gummy bears (“gummybear hair care”), NFR themed pajama/lounge shorts, a set of fake lashes shaped like the extensions she used to get. idk, I love unconventional merch like Ariana’s BUWYGIB candy hearts, etc.

The negativity here doesn’t stop, does it?

I really like the cover. It’s different and somewhat vibrant. The font and the dude are odd choices, but I still think the aesthetic of the cover is great, and very well photographed.

PREACH! I’m glad she abandoned the straight on headshot in front of a car thing, it’s nice to change stuff up and experiment! And to me this cover really nails a modernised ‘American Kitsch’ that really taps in to the vibe of Norman Rockwell’s work?
 
It’s just such an interesting cover - her pose pulling us into her world, the painted sky, the burning city, the guy in black while she wears bright neon, her expression, everything’s is just so interesting?

Y'all are a bunch of whiny bitches. The artwork is pretty funny and much better than another boribg closeup of her face.

Imagine wanting a cute portrait of Lana as the cover when she served this painting-esque sky with California burning on the background while she's sailing away with a cute guy reaching for us to take her hand and let her guide us through the sea  a bunch of clowns

Sad to see that people still have something to bitch and whine about. It's an amazing cover, yes it's different and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But some of you are so unnecessarily rude and immature about it. 

Omg she is SERVING it!! The cover is brilliant, i’m actually glad she broke the trend tbh? The cover is just so ‘American Kitsch’ which is exactly what I associate with the art of Norman Rockwell, and it totally matches the sound of the album so far!
 
SCREAMING about Best American Record finally getting released, I wonder if she’ll have changed it up at all?

Lana always serves satisfying aesthetics, I don’t know why I was worried previously, I trust her to be unique and true to herself and her vision!

I’m so glad this cover has an actual concept. This is her most interesting album cover so far tbh. A boring regular album cover for an album called “Norman Fucking Rockwell!” wouldn’t work. The comic explosion with the album title in it adds to the whole concept.
