Tbh I’m kinda over the insiders for multiple reasons. As much as they say they don’t want attention, it’s literally all they want. They tease something and then act all surprised when fans want more information. They spoil everything before Lana/her team get to announce anything. Imagine if we were surprised by Lana herself and not some “insider”, it would make it that much more exciting.
 
I’m kinda hope this “insider” era ends after this album cycle but I’m sure it will only get worse for the next one.

People complaining about Lana releasing a song they’ve already heard…You mean, you chose to listen to the leaks and now that you’ve ruined the anticipation for yourselves, this is how you gonna cry?

Tbh the grants is a waaaay better choice for a promo single compared to Arcadia, blue banisters, wildflower wildfire, hiadt…, let me love you like a woman

Can’t say I’m surprised the chosen singles are from side A. Keeping the titles on the mock up whilst still concealing the rest.. couldn’t have been a coincidence

I think the only type of insider I like rn is the “Kintsugi” type. Spills some information on songs & lyrics and builds hype but doesn’t ruin any kind of announcement.

I actually would’ve preferred grandfather as a single over the grants but either way it’s a stunning song that will grow on you and make you feel like you’re entering heaven. Haven’t listened to it in nearly two weeks but the chorus plays in my head constantly. Just something very special about that song.
