I'm manifesting "Yosemite" being as epic as "The greatest"...

Oh 24..........that zexy sexy vexy song I LOVE IT!! Ugh the way ill end up having to be the one to go to bat for Dance till We Die, im up for the task. I weirdly feel Dance is the fourth wheel of the trifecta that is White Dress, Wild at Heart And Not all who Wander, so I love her without hearing her. Yoooooo the way this album is filled with nothing but serves which means our debates will be LEGENDARY

Chemtrails being her best title track  its fucking MAGIC and as soon as this queenly chick says laundry I, I... This is AOTY dont deny it babies!!!!! (I'm like a 1/4 into a Jim Beam bottle cus I got kinda broken up with by someone I wasn't really with anyway?!?!?!?) We stay winning
Let's go White Dress, ruin me!

OH MY GOD THE MV FOR PAWN SHOP BLUES ??? also lana staring with a sad look on her face to a blonde version of herself (her lizzy days) inside a glass box is so heartbreaking and beautful

Video Games verses melodically are very similar to old country. Literally just sing "open up a beer, take it over here, and play a video game" with a  little drawl and you'll hear it

such a nice interview and i love the fact that the article mentions sirens! i'm happy that it's getting some sort of recognition

I’m so impressed. Her best interview in a long time! I’m getting a bit nervous for this next album just because she herself seems so unsure about it... but I get the feeling that’s because it’s very sincere and vulnerable??? I hope so.

The whole interview feels like a confirmation of how traumatized she is about being so harshly discredited by the media for so long ? but at the same time I love how they accepted how she recognizes her own power and influence in “I wanted music to change in the early 2000s and I wanted it to be better than it was. I think it is and I genuinely think I had a hand in it for female singer-songwriters”. They don’t land like shots from  a weaponised ego - more the affirmations of someone who still feels as if she doesn’t say it, nobody will.” ?

This was quite an interesting read. Makes me kinda nervous for the album since she is so unsure of it. I am so intrigued by White Dress and Dark But Just a Game. The part where she calls WD's chorus stupid made me giggle. I wonder what happened at that party with Jack. The photos are breathtaking. Weird but beautiful. The photo with the hoodie in particular is immaculate

I took as if there was nothing to dislike not because it's wasn't too wild just because it was THAT good and she was sure of the quality of the material though? Idk at least I read it that way lol

what a great interview!!! it actually sounds like they respected her for fucking once. and she seemed fragile but realistic, but almost uncertain about things. i can't wait for this album to drop so we can see where she'll go afterward. hmm....

i was worried but wow this really turned out to be one of her best interviews in a long time, the power of editing . it was nice to finally hear about the music and also her recent “controversies” being explained rather insightful, i hope that’s the end of it tho. she’s so uncertain about this album which i think explains the rather short tracklist  probably because there weren’t a whole lot of songs she was in love with but i’m excited nonetheless from what she described.

Not a Kings of Leon mention. I was just listening to Aha Shake Heartbreak last night and was upset how disappointing their new album is shaping up to be.

Such a similar answer to the one she gave in the NY Times interview in Aug 2019. I wonder if White Dress was written around then?

On “The Greatest,” you sing about missing rock ’n’ roll. Do you think rock is dead or dying?
It’s more about the concept of actually just chilling and listening to music for no reason. I was thinking of when I was 19, 20, 21 and had my first real boyfriends in this [expletive] apartment and just listening to Kings of Leon, that song “Milk,” or like White Stripes and the Strokes. We were trying to get into this secret bar they had on the East Side and no one would ever let us in. It was so fun. Maybe I should’ve said indie rock.

That was a really fantastic interview! So nice that she mostly talked all about the music!

it was fun to see all of Eclipse’s hints (grass being greener, white stripes, Kings of Leon) have meaning

also all the retrospective pictures of her, while knowing White Dress is a retrospective track.
I’m curious how White Dress sounds since it seems very hope but also had slightly more instruments.

I’m exited for literally every song on this album
