because they're jealous twinks who could never be best friends with Lana and they want to be. i mean, in a way, i get it because you could also be afraid they could influence her music and make her music sound weird or bad, but maybe they're what she needs to make a completely new, even better album. who knows lol

I love Nikki, she seems like such a genuine and true friend  — love seeing some positive talk about her!!!

Nikki seems like the girl at a bar who would talk to you about your problems and then share a drink with you. She reminds me of a lot of women I grew up around, actually. Not liking country music isn't a valid reason to straight up hate Nikki (although, I will admit that a few of the jokes here and there are funny)

people do the exact same thing with nikki lane and honestly it's really gross, you may not like their collaborations together or her music personally but she hasn't done anything wrong, i've read some really rude things about her here  

she sacrifices a friend per record to get universal acclaim. rumor has it that Nikki Lane is next if BB hits 7.5 on metacritic

I honestly don't think NFR is a safe album at all and I'll never understand why people think so. A slightly softer sound on the surface does not make it safe, it's a deeply complex project and absolutely as brilliant as people say. 

Anyways, Blue Banisters is also brilliantIt further explains her as an artist and a person and I really hope people take the time to absorb it fully 

she really does nothing except being Lana's friend and people are pressed, let the girl live 

Literally this. I do agree with some of the things said, but NFR! is as LDR as it gets. It's just that it had such a cool concept and new sound, plus the social/political state of America of that time... it also came out after a "long" hiatus (for her standards), her personality was on fire (hence why the album is so cool as she said) plus the songs are literally amazing  Honestly my top 10 Lana songs is 50% NFR tracks

alex's presence always has you guys seething  she's not just the back up dancer.. she's lana's friend so it's completely normal that she's around her all the time

Nfr stans was me, becoming Lana levels of unhinged and ATTACKING @West Coast @ShadesOfFool all last year. 
 

I think the opposite actually, Lust for Life was an album she played safe after she started getting blasted from the feminist movement and UV lyrics and whatever was happening at the time, then even changed her whole personality in that era for a hot sec. NFR impacted ALL of the recent pop records by being the first one to strip down production, taylor, billie, lorde, clario, etc. followed that sound because NFR was just so refreshing for the time - it's truly the BTD of the 2020s. I would say Blue Banisters is the same level of safe as all of her other records (except lust for life) which is not safe, it's Lana, because it all comes down on to how she wants the vibe to be, she was screaming all crazy during her 2011/2012 concerts because that was just the vibe, she's always seemed comfortable expressing herself through music. I don't think she ever thought about the criticism or playing it safe while making her records (except for LFL and probably Chemtrails).

We all know Sputnik Music will be crashing in with their 0/5 review when the MC score starts looking too good. It's dark but just a game.

Bye, NFR is not bad at all and it is (one of) her best. How can you say that when that album has Venice Bitch ,The Greatest and California amongst other career highlights?
 
I love both COCC and BB, but in my opinion none of the tracks there are as strong as the NFR highlights.
