Has anyone kept his eye on the long falling tone sequences in the chorus and outro? They remind me of slowly falling leaves in the fall.

I don’t think anyone has pointed it out yet, but I think this photo Lana posted on Instagram back in June is from the same day she filmed Arcadia! If you look closely, she’s wearing the same jewelry (both necklace and rings), the same sweater (you can tell by the ribbed texture), the same nail style, and her hair is styled the same way!

I don't want to be negative or anything but I'm not really understanding what this is supposed to be, especially when taken in conjunction with the mv.
Is it meant to be serious? Ironic? I find it hard to really invest in the song when there's an mv of her with all that stuph at the end. I suppose I'm a bit confusion.
I will listen again tomorrow.

I'm not really sure if this is unpopular, but I'm honestly grateful that Blue Banisters wasn't released on the original date (July 4th). It seems like such a fall album and a release date set in the middle of summer just wouldn't have fit it. 

Loving this new song. The way it changed in style towards the end was shocking lol.

Stellar, gorgeous piano ballad and iconic video. Everything that’s on Blue Banisters thus far is superb. Naysayers are all Philistines. Sure, the instrumentation in these songs can be spare, but the chord progressions, lyrics and songcraft are unparalleled. Dig out your tin ear and appreciate them as they should be.

I would like to formally apologize for not recognizing how nice Living Legend is. I listened to it again recently & yeah! It’s simple but a really solid song, and I think it’s perfect for the record!

It definitely reminds me of her cover of You Must Love Me sonically! The strings/horns sound so rich and organic I’m in love.
The chorus also has a very musical/theatrical element to it? It kinda sounds like Lana’a take on an Enya track lol.

AMEN SISTER, so done with those sexist age discussions about her  
 this mv was....amazing. I wish I could experience watching this video for the first time because of how shook I was when 4:30 kicked in ... the interlude/sample made it feel like a cinematic movie and it gave Lana's old Hollywood appeal. I went into this 99% sure the interlude would just be a nice orchestra piece, so when the majestic horns kicked in and she lowered her glasses my jaw dropped, but then the beat dropped, and I screammedd. I'm so obsessed with the aesthetic too and I'm addicted to watching this over and over again

A difficult but beautiful song, I think it's not for everyone. But „If everyone likes it maybe it's not that good“ .
P.S. Needed some time to understand the text, especially the end. Actually it's a very sad song.
