I’m so excited about Taco Truck x VB. The way she revisited, payed tribute and even sampled older songs/sounds in A&W is absolutely astonishing. Kintsugi saying that Taco Truck’s outro is one for the books makes me even more impatient. And Jack teased it on his IG story today, as well! I’m pretty sure it’ll be a glorious ending to a sublime album. 
 
I’m also very curious about the interludes which are supposed to be psychotic and creepy. I wonder if Candy Necklace is going to take us by surprise, too. I remember BOZ saying that all the long tracks on the album have unusual/unconventional structure and this track has an insane amount of instruments on it. And Kintsugi described it as « massive ».

has anyone pointed out the "surfs up" at 6:34 yet? it's my favorite hidden detail in the song (the laugh right at 5:24 and the vape sound are close contenders though)

i wish i could go back to when i heard this song for the first time. of course it’s still phenomenal but wow hearing the transition and beat drop for the first time…insane. 

This is my favourite part of the interview and as a proud supporter of the death-positive movement, I am really looking forward to hearing her explore this issue. And also it will be refreshing for the GP to hear Lana talk about death in a mature way and stop going on and on about her “rOmAntisIzInG s**cide”

I'm late to the party, but all I can say is WOW.  Even with the descriptions the insiders gave us, it was much different than I expected. I think it fits Kintsugi's description of dark and berserk but vulnerable perfectly. The transition to the Jimmy part is insane and I can't get the whole second half out of my head. THIS WOMAN

Saw this dropped while I was at work today, and almost listened to it then... but, I waited 'til I got home, loaded a bowl (), and made listening to A&W an event. And, holy fuck, I'm so glad I did!!!!!! I can't remember the last time a new LDR release blew me away like this -- MAC came close, but this is just like... next-level  I'll always ride for Lana, and I've really appreciated her recent work, but it's been a while since a new track had me so excited!! Genuinely feels both totally unexpected and exactly what we've all wanted from Lana, and between this and the title track I absolutely can't imagine how great this album is going to be. Like it's gonna be her masterpiece right

Crude Drawing of an Angel is my favourite track by far. Absolutely transcendent. I also really love Pretty in Possible, Butterfly Net, Blood and Butter, and Hopedrunk Everasking. Billions has aged beautifully and is such an amazing - and fitting! - closer. I’m less keen on the rest of the singles which all have their strong moments, but mostly feel ‘slight’ compared to the rest of the album (Bunny Is A Rider is very cool though) . I also love Dido on Fly on Me (Grimes almost ruins the song, lol).

I don’t like final songs being released as singles but damn this great album ending with Billions feels so triumphant 

also dido sounds fantastic on this so idk what the insiders were on about
