is it a norm for Coachella to save their headliners' actual show? is there a history of performers changing things up for their next performance? 

I'm sure the heart-shaped lasso is going to be present in the new era. Maybe only that particular drawing as merch but it's too literal to not mean anything at all.
I find weird that there was no mention of the new album at all in her performance tho... not even a reminder that it's allegedly coming out this year

I know she loves the piano Ballards but I do wish we would get some different ones. she has plenty of others idk why she keeps playing the same ones

comparing it to SNL was wild tbh, it was not that bad at all. She was a bit pitchy at times (bc she ACTUALLY sings live) and there were technical difficulties, but there were a lot of great moments too,.

I was surprised she came out to Gangsta by Kehlani considering she really came for Lana around QFTC and the looting vids. Even more surprised at Kehlani commenting on tik tok that Lana invited her to perform with her at coachella but she “couldn’t make it”

MAJOR kudos to Billie for saying what she said about Lana. She basically gave her queen status. To think that they were going to sing Billie’s new song she previewed with Zane Lowe expecting Lana to be featured was SO delusional of me. Lmao. 

I gotta get all my negative emotions out before I go to sleep so I can wake up to serenity and willful ignorance about this night and performance 

ya to be fair I also thought her first show for the 2023 festival tour was a disaster (with the 5 min weird interlude immediately and bizzare costume/wig change) and it's kind of iconic now, so hopefully you are correct

feeling her shake the nerves off a bit during the ride monologue and then watching her deliver the song so beautifully in front of that crowd made me so emotional 

I’m just making this up tbh but I lowkey feel like Lana also feeds from the energy she gets from the crowd and from the livestream I saw half the crowd weren’t even singing - again tho this is just what I saw and isn’t reality I know but I think this could have thrown her off too

now be honest were you guys really expecting any song other than her literal greatest hits? its the biggest festival on the planet she was NOT going to play Black Bathing Suit or White Dress for that fuckass crowd
