The real issue isn't even AOTY, it's Lana getting moved out of Alternative categories every year. NFR was great, but a pop album it was not. It would have easily won in the Alt album category if they just let her (rightfully) be in there.

The Grants isn’t a bad single choice, they just wanted to show how versatile this album (and Lana) is.
Ben and Ed posted a picture of the album with these captions: “new ldr song, ‘the grants’ , a different world from A&W but another piece of beautiful songwriting from a special album coming March 24 […]”. / “Beautiful new song ‘The Grants’ out now. Compared to BB and COCC, this has promo to it. There are ads in every social media, posters around the US and Europe, 3 decent-to-amazing photoshoots, her Visionary Award, she’s coming back to doing concerts… there’s something different this time around. Feels like a good middle point between Lana not wanting to play the game while also making herself somehow present.

I honestly don’t think her album trailers do much outside of her fandom and music videos are kind of a dying art form these days… I think they should’ve done something with the Oceanblvd Insta account tho.

I ordered an indie vinyl from Amazon and mine says "Arriving today by 10pm" too.
It's definitely not coming though. It hasn't actually shipped. They've never updated the info on the item page like all the other vinyl and cds and the "arriving today" is just the automatic status update. It's always said "arriving Mar 14", then "arriving tomorrow", and now "arriving today". Tomorrow I can guarantee it will say something like, "running late, now expected tomorrow", then it will keep saying that for a few days, and then it will offer a refund when days go buy of "delays".
I wouldn't be surprised if they never get shipments of the indie vinyl at all, and all the preorders for it eventually get cancelled. It's weird it ended up on Amazon in the first place.

I'm 80% sure the surprise is just a (small) tour announcement.
It would be a "surprise" cause so far she only announced festivals, it's "for the fans" and it also makes sense with the finally comment.
She probably has some Europe dates too and that's why BOZ is happy about it

Unless BOZ explicitly said it's not the tour cause I'm not sure up to what point he read to say "nobody guessed it right" cause the majority of people were saying either AKA/Unreleased or a surprise second album.

Remember in late 2021 she said she was focusing on other interests? Citing those interests as a reason for deactivating her IG and even alluding to these interests in her speech at the Variety Awards. Could it be that this mystery interest is related to the announcement?
