after thinking it over for ages i finally got a turntable recently and am starting my collection. currently i only have future nostalgia and sawayama, but i would like to get all of lana’s albums eventually (not like all the special editions or whatever because they’re so expensive lol) because her music has held such a special place in my heart for so long

I’ve never tested that model so I can’t say but since it’s $250, I would recommend trying the music hall usb 1. It’s $200 and I love mine. They both have a lot of similarities like adjustable counterweight and build in preamp

Guys, I'm trying to find the cheapest way to buy new records. Can some cheapskates from Europe recommend me online stores with cheap shipping? For now Ebay os the best but the prices are sometimes ridiculous while they don't ship pre-owned ones outside of UK. Please don't recommend me thrift stores because I'm looking for 2010s and new albums atm.

I love discogs, eBay sellers ImportCDs from KY & rare waves are good, Juno records from the UK are actually decent on shipping, and I’ve had a couple but great experiences with red yeti!

They only ship within the UK. I'm from Serbia. I swear if I ever go there I will only buy used vinyl.

i keep all my hype stickers  i peel them off real carefully and then apply them somewhere satisfying like the inner sleeve or the back of the record in the corner, just to fill some space. Plus it’s not like it damages the record at all!

I cut mine out of the shrink wrap (leaving a small shrink wrap border) and put them in the clear sleeves that i put all my records in.

i like to keep hype stickers because i like looking at them for inspiration when i make things in photoshop etc, and i think they look cool! some artists put lots of thought and design into them and make them really unique. 

 

Also, yesterday i bought Younger Now by miley on vinyl - it’s the first vinyl i’ve bought in forever and i’m so happy with it. i didn’t know it came with a cute lyric book either

so how are we feeling about RSD this time?

i think this year is lackluster compared to past years, even last years had more excitement and hype and better releases. 

i plan to get wallows - singles collection this month and gerard way hesitant alien next month, if i find bella donna by stevie she’s on my list too. i may pick up the lakes but i don’t know yet. i also considered beam me up scotty but saw that it would be 60 for a 2lp… like nicki is flopping too hard rn for those prices 

anyways love you hear your thoughts
