idk i feel with COCC's release and the subsequent announcement of Rock Candy Sweet, a string of words which sounds pop and playful, alongside the appearance of synths in the BB snippets, strong feelings about the evolution of her sound that had been repressed since NFR are now out in the open. I would see Lana forever as a sell out. It's not like she ever mentioned Madonna or was interested in her work in the past. The whole thing would be a publicity stunt in my eyes and I would lose my respect for her. 

 

Madonna's career is almost over. Most of my friends don't even know who she is. A collab with Lana would totally be beneficial for her.

 

Lana would gain credibility and a lot of people would write praising her for working with the Queen of Pop. For me it would be a scream for attention.

 

I would be a lot more excited for a collab with Britney, Nikki Lane, Zella, Weyes, Bob Dylan, Courtney Love, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchel, A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd and even Ariana, Clay and Azealia

 

Those are just my personal thoughts. I'm missing Lana's authenticity so much that any superficial mainstream move would kill even more my interest in her
