Totally agree with the end point! But in terms of work, that’s not what he does. He achieves a lot of those effects in camera via special film, lenses and gels, et cetera. It’s technically very impressive.

I know a bit about photography, and whether he colorizes poor photos to begin with or not, the end result is the same.

Agreed, I like his work a lot. To create those "effects" he uses expired polaroids and specific analog techniques, he doesn't add a hazy effect to it. Plus working with expired film requires quite a high level of skill as it's very unpredictable, yet his work maintains consistency!

Just made this concept using the Henry promotional picture and I’m pretty proud of it! Felt like adding her name as ‘Elizabeth Dufrene’ to reflect on her new reality and what I think she might be exploring on the new album and I think it’s cute!

 

It was inspired by some records from the 40s/50s, I’ve always loved this style and it would be cool to have something like that in her discography since she’s always been heavily influenced by these eras.
