Boom. An amazing 11 track album

In saying that, I fucking *love* so so so many of the tracks and im so glad we got such a big album (and deluxe on the way)

there’s really something for everyone, and a lot of songs I’m sure will grow on me

I like it. But I’m just confused. Her diction is so bad on some songs like I genuinely don’t know what she’s saying. I wish it was shorter or at least organised in a way that felt a bit more cohesive.

I love her and will eventually love this album but I do not think it was necessary for it to be this long or jumbled. It’s not bad but I expected a better first impression

This album is amazing. I can see why people say it's "all over the place". It's cohesive but there are tracks that need to be cut off. As a SZA fan, I love and appreciate how she wants to include every song she's made but, honestly less is more. It can be so overwhelming listening to the record. 

 

I'm glad the critics are eating this up. I'm just happy she is releasing.

the album is too long for meeeee. she's definitely talented but I guess I expected something different since there was a 5 year wait. I think there's a lot of similarity between the songs that makes them hard to differentiate on a first listen. I feel like on her first album each song had such a punch and a burning passion and her voice was so clear and soaring. I'll have to give it another listen when I'm driving in my car.

Some of the songs are ok. I like Shirt, Blind and Good Days…and maybe I didn’t get enough sleep last night (I know I didn’t, I was up till 2 am obsessing about stupid shit) but this new album is giving me a headache. People were right that there are more skips than not. Confused by pitchforks review. I really did like her first two albums; they seemed more cohesive. tbh I’d rather just stream Tunnel/Ocean Blvd again for the millionth time lol
