I’m not arguing with verifying facts, just don’t act like you’re the sole crusader exposing the truth of something that you have just as tenuous a grip on as any non-insider on Lanaboards. Calling out BOZ for sensationalizing is very, very rich when you headlined this post with “It was all a lie…” 
 
Consider cutting the drama and simply discussing this stuff civilly like (most of) the forum does, instead of creating an incensed call-out post for someone whose veracity you have no better way of proving than anyone else here — anyway, stream TROPICO

he literally said Patrick just threw the stems he had together and filled in the blanks, so your "contradiction" makes no sense. Obviously they would share stems, we all simply assumed the overlap wouldnt be that big.

Again, i dont see how anything that BoZ said is contradicted by your post. Lana literally said shes not gonna release any more music after BTD cause she has "said everything she wanted to say"... 9 months before we got the Paradise EP, its not like she is very trustworthy herself and we have plenty of evidence that she changes her mind all the time
 
We have a plethora of UV outtakes, what exactly makes you think e.g. Fine China or Youe Girl werent on thw final tracklist until she re-recorded the album with Dan? Your arguments are solely based on the fact that Dan is not a co-writer. We have no idea if Lana changed the tracklist, so again, your arguments dont make sense
 
i think this is a pretty rich statement coming from someone who calls this "myth busting" when said "busting" is based on vague and very shaky arguments, but you do you

This leaked on the day my first true love broke up with me after he attempted suicide. I really resonated with it at the time and it still physically hurts to listen to.
The verses especially sound like heartbreak, emptiness & loneliness. Those strings just HIT some emotional nerve.
I'm not ready for whenever the UV version leaks, if it ever does.

There's just something about her earlier vocals that get me every time. These new leaks from whatever the Tropico era is has really made me thirsty for that again! And I love all of her albums...
 
But the way Born To Die into Paradise, her voice was such a rush, thrilling, it really captured this essence of being young, stupid and wildly in love. There's a naivete to her voice but there's so much passion and desire when she sings these songs.
 
Then Ultraviolence into Honeymoon, her vocals really fuck me up. It's insane. The way she manages to sound hopeless yet hopeful at the same time. She sounds physically and emotionally exhausted, she knows it's the end of the relationship, she's tired and heartbroken to a point where vocally there seems to be some relief? Like a weight has been lifted. But then there's always a glimmer of hope, a bit of desperation to keep it going and to make it work. It's a complete rush but in a total different way to the Born To Die era.
 
The Tropico era seemed very spiritual (and I know she described it that way back in 2013). But for real, there's such an ethereal feel to most of these songs, like they were never supposed to be heard anyways. And the stripped back production of this time is something I'd love to hear again from her. The guitar is insane and really works for her! And as much as I love the records that preceded this era and followed, it's nice to have a moment which feels intimate and almost like if Born To Die was the thrill and rush of a bad relationship, Ultraviolence and Honeymoon was the lows and aftermath; Tropico feels like the lying in bed alone whilst awake at 3am looking for answers?
 
I've honestly never experienced the way I feel when listening to her music with any other artist, especially the first few records, it's like sour candy, you're drawn in by the sweetness and even though you know it's bitter you're still not ready for how bitter it can be? And you still crave more!

Taco Truck melody is good enough why didn’t they just write a second verse? It kinda kills my whole mood hearing the same aahhh I heard for the last for years and seemingly with no connection to the song? Kinda wished for an amazing ending to an amazing album just like it had an amazing opening.
