In other news, Pitchfork just released their top 200 most important artists of the last 25 years, with the top 50 being those who they say changed music forever, and Lana is in the top 50 
 
I think the controversies of the last couple years are going to be over with Blue Banisters' release and the universal acclaim really is coming. 

That was me and it was literally the best moment of my entire life. I still haven’t recovered. I didn’t want to post about it here bc I was embarrassed about how I look, but since it’s here… Lana is seriously the best. 

Last night, Lana Del Rey was seen arriving to Churchome in Beverly Hills, California.
Lana has been known to frequent this church for their Wednesday night services, and this is her first time being spotted attending since before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. This church is frequented by other celebrities such as Justin and Hailey Bieber and Demi Lovato.

I don’t think of BB as a fall album, but more of a spring album. There are a lot of references to flowers, including cherry blossoms that only bloom around March or April, the title track itself mentions the weather turning to May, Thunder sounds like a windy spring or summer day… A spring release would’ve been perfect!
On the other hand, COTCC is a perfect fall album. I’ve adored this album since the beginning, but I’ve never loved it more than now. I wish Lana could’ve released it last year in September, and BB around May this year, or next year, but I understand why Lana didn’t want to wait to release it

Happy birthday, Honeymoon! I cannot believe it’s been 6 years since its release —— what a timeless record with some of Lana’s most creative and impressionistic writing. I truly believe Lana tapped a new creative vein with Honeymoon that made for a collection of songs that served as a culmination of her life and career in the spotlight. The conduit between anxiety and glamour that underlies this record is one of Lana’s many creative identities and she challenges that identity so confidently but coolly on this record. The title track is one of my favourite songs of all time, and the soundscaping on the entire record is so retro, luxe, and dreamy. I will never forget how songs like Honeymoon and Terrence Loves You made me feel upon first listen. Happy birthday to a masterpiece that is emblematic of Lana turning all the way inward and capturing her essence beautifully. <3  

Since she mentioned an album of 25 unreleased songs that leaked, I feel like the most iconic ones from 2006–2014 are definitely on her radar (and mine too!) ——

For anyone who considers themself as a fake fan for not buying physical versions of music or merch.: You are NOT less of a fan for not buying an artists’ music/merch! Especially with the shipping, it’s hard to purchase physical music/merch because it’s either limited for certain countries or the shipping is expensive + customs are high. I can assure you that your support and love is more than enough! Everyone’s financial situation is different, and for some people, collecting music or merch is useless because they’d rather spend the money on other important things they need for the price, or they just like sticking to streaming platforms because it’s enough for them and that’s fine! Most artists are incredibly grateful for your love and support and that’s all that matters!  

OH WTF I didn't know!!! It's beautiful!  I was listening to the yt version only, now finally the song has arrived for me. 

It's really impossible, but I'd love if she released/reworked Dangerous Girl one day. I absolutely love that song and it would be amazing to be finally able to listen to it on streaming services.

Hell yeah! Finally a relatable song. I love laying down in bed, it's awesome 

I think it’s quite beautiful and poignant how Lana starts the album off “looking for the father [she] wanted back” and at the end of the album, seems to have found him (and written a song with him!) 

Beautiful might be a highlight.
 
Usually her melodies are beautiful already, so a song called Beautiful must even be more beautiful than normal.
