Well, even if we are not counting with "untouchable 5", Lana herself confirmed that she reworked most of the record with Dan and that's what we deal with "original Ultraviolence record" (and recently we got some snippets from original demos that sound, well, different.)
I always imagined these 5 were for the new record and not Paradise outtakes. But really early records. The way we know about Black Beauty and all these songs were made avaliable at same time and even sound-like....
Love when we take deeper looks over this sea. Reminds me when lanaboards theorized the possibility of having a full scrapped record\concept between AKA and Born to Die with all the recordings we have around these years and even the "Mink coat video" thing.

OMG, this was one of my most desiredes collabs ever, do you know if she worked on anything else with Mark Ronson besides the TLY demo?
And miiight be a stretch, but I know they frequent the same collaborators, go to the same parties and an ex bf told her she sounded like her back in like 2009 on her FB profile... has Lana ever worked on a collaboration with Lykke Li that we don't know of?

I will never understand the hate for ITTJ the 6 minute version is absolutely heavenly the reformed christian-aftermath of UV-end of movie feel the song gives is so classic and the "he said only read the red" line scratches some weird part of my brain I love it a staple went platinum in my car playlist

i'm not so sure i've got anything of an epiphany to say about the record but imma just gush. there's this elusive sort of appeal to it that i can't and more so don't really want to pinpoint and name at the moment. it's been so entrancing, and the high contrasts between the sound of cool air'd vocals to the heaviness of the subject matter, the difference of temperatures between the sound of flight, and the bellows of wanting to forget and choosing what to hold onto. the album's just so inter-spatial and fulfilling, liberating as well to many extents.
graceful, but still earthy, or something i'd attribute to an underwater pocket of an island protected by the sea. maybe i've always taken to heart what my star signs are, but the imagery, and flowing of water thru this record, the complexity of emotions and their necessity's just incredibly pristine. to the sharpness of what sounds like wind karate-chopping a space, and the warmth of reverbs and pulsing beats- this album's like a beautiful living dance of what it means to surmount struggle, and the genius in finding the beauty in it. like falling in love under a thunderstorm, or taking the right steps and finding comfort in keeping course.
it's not something i'd like to analyze to bits, but it's honestly just perfect to me. thank u Lana. consider me inspired, this album's like sunlight christening you from an opened window.

I’ve just opened my green vinyl and it still says “vocals by Lana Del RAY” in the credits. Did nobody proofread these?

I think people just literally make shit up when it comes to filling in the gaps with Lana’s story.
and wow that would be such an odd, surreal moment seeing patty and rob in the wild (and on Sunset no less). Just seeing patty in the flesh would be extra impactful now that she’s kind of the resident villain of the LDR mythos

Fingertips is the all time anti-tiktok song - you can try to take parts of it out of context, but you just end up looking like an idiot.
It's also the worst album to expect people to understand on first listen, which is why I hope the genius behind the reviewer's 'listening party' in the UK gets sent back to business school by the label. Just thinking about how this record would easily be an 85 on metacritic if the label had sent out copies instead, makes me mad.

It would be so perfect if SWEET gets a homemade MV similar to NFR title track. With the disney animations running around. It's such a cool concept having 2D animations blend with live videos.

I never hate Bleachers or Margaret but Jack's singing tarnished this song for me, he should have just stayed silent and let Lana do the whole tribute to him & his wifey
