  1. Baby Ruth liked a post in a topic by Elle in Arcadia (Alternate Video)
Something else very interesting! I don’t know if you all remember, but last month I had made a Rumours thread for a possible LDR x FJM video. You can read more about that here:

Now I’m wondering if they also shot Arcadia then too. If you look closely at the video that started this thought, it looks like the same fencing is seen in the background as in the new Arcadia video.

The timeline also matches up too, as this was September 17th and based on Lana’s nail-alysis, this video seems to be pretty recent.
I’m still wondering if another video from this shoot is yet to come, especially with Father John Misty mentioned and the amount of other people who were tagged in the original post. That may explain though why this was so unexpected and seemingly random - a spontaneous video shoot in the middle of another shoot! x

I think she also has too much time this year because she couldn't go on tour because of Corona, so she decided to devote more time to her creative work.

  4. Baby Ruth liked a post in a topic by Elle in Lana leaving XIV Karats in Beverly Hills, CA - October 6th, 2021
Yesterday, Lana Del Rey was spotted leaving XIV Karats, a jewelry store in Beverly Hills, California.
Lana has bought several pieces from them in the past and she is featured on their Instagram page.

exactly, i’m not gonna pretend it’s good just because it was her vision

Chemtrails is actually a really good album. I agree that the production is not the strongest point but her voice and melodies carry the songs enough to make a nice record.

The fact that the video is how she wanted, doesn't make it good

i think it's actually very possible tbh. he has writing credits on BB and she thanked him in that instagram post, i think they were able to leave their past in the past and be friends or atleast collaborators

i wonder if she's gonna serve vocals in this album, because COCC was a breath of fresh air in the vocal department. white dress, wild at heart, NAWWAL and DTWD featured some of the most unique and iconic lana vocals and i would love if she experimented more of it on this record aside from the screaming masterpiece

Lana's vocals have been stellar lately but I really miss the playful vocals from the Lizzy (and BTD to some extent) days

It's true that she has nothing left to prove, but I think she's so interested in singing and poetry that a "farewell" album is a long way off. Covering old classics is just an episode, something she's always wanted to do, but her true destiny lies in writing her own songs. Songs like Text Book, Blue Banisters or Wildflower Wildfire are the beginning of a new era and we will hear a lot more in this style on the next albums, maybe she will finally find her home in it.

I've said it before but I think she just doesn't wanna hear anyone's opinions about it. She said it's her story and that is very personal to her, so if that's the case, she's not wanting to be on socials bc she's gonna see shit she's not wanting to. She might have other reasons but it just makes sense to me. Maybe her therapist told her to stay off socials for a few weeks until after the album rollout is done and over with, unless she wants to give social control to her management and we know what a shit show that would be

I love that some of these tracks were recorded recently! It’s really cool to have Lana release songs in real time because it’s kind of a glimpse into her life as she’s experiencing it (as opposed to her songs just being reflective of her past, or released a year or two later, once her life looks a bit different)

i kinda thought about it this morning but what if Rock Candy Sweet is being saved for the country record with Nikki since its jack produced?

I know the question isn't directed at me but I'm 100% sure she will release an exclusive vinyl copy, probably a different color but I don't think the difference will be significant. It would be awesome if she replaced the three bonus songs with some completely different from that era that were never released.

I think blue bannisters requires a thank you letter just like lust for life.
(And if this bitch doesn't say a thing about jane powers for living legend i wouldn't know what to do with her...)

There we were! Screaming Black Lives Matter!
In the crowd! By the Old Man River!
And I saw! You saw who I am!

Ok but musically Text Book is just what we needed after NFR and COCC. The production is brilliant. If she wants to bring back Zach, Gabe, and Dean for another album after LDR 9  (which I'm assuming is the Mike album) I wouldn't complain at all if it's in a similar vein to Text Book

I'm glad I haven't listened to Dealer and The Trio yet. And I've only listened to the first 50 seconds of Arcadia. So I think I'm good lol!

@Future Jazz You could listen to the leaked stuff early and then treat the rest of the album as an exclusive 11-track edition or something! For example, you could start with Dealer, Thunder, Nectar, Living Legend and Cherry Blossom first, enjoy the HQ/remastered quality and then listen to the new tracks starting with the officially released singles (Text Book, BB, Arcadia, Interlude, WFWF) and completing your listening experience with the 5 brand new tracks (BBS, IYLDWM, Beautiful, VFR, SC). Upon your second listen, you could listen to the album in sequence just as Lana curated it in order to "get" the narrative/story of the album. Or you could treat the leaked stuff as bonus tracks upon your first listen.

Anyway, Black Bathing Suit is a head-scratcher at this point. I'm tempted to predict it as the closest thing to a "bop" on the album; there's a reason why The Trio precedes it. And while I'm not really expecting another Cherry/Cinnamon Girl/Tulsa Jesus Freak to be honest, because I highly doubt Erickson and Dawes would co-write something similar to these tracks, I do think that the interlude's trap elements and spaghetti western sounds will somehow be incorporated... Besides, the longest tracks on a Lana album usually end up being highlights (Off to the Races; Cruel World; Blackest Day; Honeymoon; Heroin; Get Free; Venice bitch; Hope is a dangerous thing; White Dress) so this is promising. I'm being cautiously optimistic!

Remember when boz said back in late June that she added a bunch of songs including Arcadia at the very last minute? I guess these must have been the Drew Erickson collaborations (tracks 3, 6, 7, 8 and probably 15). And a couple of days later boz told us that she added yet another song! It must have been Black Bathing Suit since no one seems to have it...

I'm very very curious about Beautiful. It's a very generic and simple title and has a surprisingly short length. I really don't know what to expect from it. Would @111 like to pour the tea?

LFL was the infamous era where she cut out all of the songs we were looking forward to hearing. Yosemite, Roses Bloom For You, Best American Record, etc.

I'm so excited to hear Living Legend. It's one of her best unreleased ever so I just know a polished final version is going to destroy us.

Taylor is doing the Taylor's Version of her albums to protest the fact that Scooter Braun bought her entire music catalog without her consent, and she wants to own her own music and masters. I don't think Lana has had any issue about fighting over her masters, so she has no reason to do this.

I hope to see Lana release one or more compilation of unreleased, b-sides, covers, etc. She could include a few acoustic versions or alternate versions on this compilation, like the demo versions of some of the Lust for Life tracks. But there is literally no reason for Lana to go back and rerecord her entire discography. I would rather she focus her time and creativity on other projects.

it would just be fun to see (hear) what she'd do to her music if she did that. in my dream world, she'd even do that to Sirens and AKA.
