LANABOARDS EXCLUSIVE: On December 3rd, the day before attending the Variety Hitmakers event to accept her Decade Award, Lana Del Rey was photographed on polaroids in a hotel room by Paul Salem, the director of LDR Village and designer of her mysterious DNC jacket.

now at #1 on the Billboard charts, congratulations to Taylor and Jack. I just wish Venice Bitch would have had that kind of success.

Most leaked songs can be found on Youtube and have hundred thousands and millions of views. But some not, because they will be immediately deleted shortly after upload. These include UFB, On & On & On or French Restaurant, for example, some of which I expect to hear on LDR9.

I'm a little surprised at how routine she was in this event. I mean, she was isolated for weeks and months and not to be seen at any major event and now we suddenly saw her confident and in her old strength again, communicating with other celebrities, as if it was the most natural thing in the world. After all the private posts, fan selfies and so on, I had almost forgotten what Lana is like in the big public, that she is a completely different person there.

I still don't like the standard cover image of BB. It's not necessarily the subject with the two dogs, but especially the contrast between light and dark. I still don't quite understand what role the yellow dress plays, except maybe that Lana looks like some kind of "naive country girl" in it (she also plays this role in the Blue Banisters video).

She did a lot of new stuff on BB:

Blue Banisters has literally no instruments, her voice alone carries the song
Arcadia has the very new and adventurous idea of comparing her body with geographical places, and she has never sung such a warm wonderful ballad before
The interlude, Dealer - ok, I don't have to explain that ones
Black Bathing Suit has a very new sound and lyrical ideas, I don't think she has ever sung about her body in this way before
If You Lie Down With Me: the retro-jazzy trumpets at the end are extraordinary
Thunder: never before has a well-known leaked song been given such an enhancement with a superb string arrangement
Sweet Carolina: for the first time, a song created with family and friends (and a piano played by Rob)
 
I would say that there have never been so many new elements and experiments on one album. I don't see any repetitions on NFR, Chemtrails and BB, each album is completely different from the others.

I'm not sure how unpopular this is, but vocally, Blue Banisters is her best album. I'd say that Honeymoon and AKA are also up there in terms of vocal performance

Not sure how unpopular this is, but I don’t like the last quarter of BB. The leaked songs being completely unchanged really drag the album down for me. I know the argument can be made it’s my own fault for listening to the leaks, but Thunder got a new arrangement and the three leaked songs could have had so many little things done to them to help them fit in the album. 

Beautiful is one of my fave piano ballads just because of the raindrop piano in it. It's so so beautiful, it gives me goosebumps. Also I really love & can relate to the message of the song  
Beautiful might have a simple structure & it's quite short but to me it's stunningly beautiful  
 

Lana shouldn't release album at least to Spring 2023. She should rest and back with something fresh and innovative. Lana must get new ideas and release something what she never done. Less piano and acoustic, more craziness. Leave mid-rural USA, back to New York, travel to Florida clubs and visit Osaka/Tokyo queen. 

Every single song for me is strong except Beautiful which is still fine but is a little weaker than the rest for me. I still enjoy it though. But seriously a strong album in my opinion.

It's not long ago, but I already miss that relatively short era with her blonde hair and her matured look. The highlight was the Chemtrails music video. One or two more visuals for other songs would have been nice.
