Why do I feel like she's going to surprise drop the entire album on the 7th

where did we ever hear BB was the last record in her contract? As far as I know, we have no idea how many records she was contracted for with Interscope.
 
I genuinely think that when her contract is up, she might go independent, I feel like she's always had an idea of how she wants to release her music (surprise drops, dropping 1 off singles) and she simply can't because of label rules

I honestly want to say that there isn't going to be many collabs on this album simply because we have truly heard nothing about it. Logistically speaking, the more people involved in a project the more likely things are to get out and we've truly not even heard crumbs of this next album besides for the one or two snippets Lana gave to us. It's always possible that everyone involved has just been really good at keeping things hush-hush but I'm also team no collabs so 

Also bc she didn’t do a meet and greet afterwards and she literally never comes to my country so I was devastated  like I been stanning the good sis for a decade, meanwhile twinks in California have met her 50 times and she’s adopted them & is the godmother to their future children wbk

I just caught up with all the madness. The roses emojis are very intriguing. I wonder if there's a thematic connection to the album; it could be a reference to the album title, the lead single or simply the overall aesthetics and visuals of this era. Or none of the above, lol! It doesn't matter though. It's confirmed that we're getting a Neil Krug photoshoot, and both Lana and Neil - and Anna! - are very excited about it so we're about to get something really good. 
 
The Pitchfork article mustn't be a coincidence. They obviously know something. I wonder if they've already listened to the lead single (or even the whole album). In general, there's a lot of hype on social media, her streams are amazing, she's become a TikTok darling...I remembered Rob's post from the studio back in March when he mentioned that he's working on an "epic project". And the most important thing - Boz, apart from saying that the album is a masterpiece, mentioned that he couldn't believe how much he loved it because "it's so wild". Epic and wild? This doesn't sound like a COCC/BB rehash; both albums are extremely low-key and grounded. So I'm pretty sure that we're going to get something very fresh and unexpected - both lyrically and especially sonically - from Lana.
