Don't you guys think that there is a possibility the song is probably called either Waitress or White Dress? Like, I would imagine Jack and Lana sending an audio recording of their talk and someone at Interview mag was transcribing and editing it and wasn't sure if they said waitress or white dress so put it like that (maybe they even reached out but didn't get an answer before publishing?)

I wonder if Waitress / White Dress is a long track that consists of two different songs? She already outdid herself with Venice Bitch so it would totally make sense to make another long song. She also mentioned this craziness that exists over it that can be realized by the end while referring to it as if it had two different identities, so hmmm... That makes me think of how Freak / Art Deco was a thing and then God Bless America / World At War was also super smart. I’d love that tbh.

i think it's definitely a possibility, i think you have a really good point that perhaps the editor wasn't sure what they meant.

 

since they described the song as "weird" i think it's also possible that "waitress / white dress" is the actual title, it fits the idea.

Can we discuss potential merch on here?  Or is that under another thread?  I officially lost my s*** over that monogrammed LDR plush robe that she was wearing in one of the photos. I sincerely hope she adds that to whatever merch she releases for the new record.   I would love to have a cozy monogrammed LDR robe!  I'm hoping her management reads this forum from time to time, because they really need to step up their merch game. I fully realize that covid-19 has put a damper on a lot of things though, in that regard.  I'm literally here begging to give her my paycheck!  I really hope they bring back the boxed sets.  If I were on her team and I had any say over her merch, I would be designing a boxed set for an immersive listening experience. I would have a piece of Lana inspired or Lana designed jewelry, a Lana inspired scented candle, a CD copy of the album, and maybe a postcard from one of the places she talks about in the record, like Oklahoma or Arkansas.  Just a few little trinkets to help set the mood as they  listen to the album for the first time.  I'm in my mid 30s , so I miss the days of tearing open the plastic shrink wrap on CDs and having that experience of having something physical in my hands. I really don't care for the digital downloads. of course I use them because I have to, but I do miss the days of CDs / boxed sets and having a physical product in my hands that would really give me that full experience!

yasss, the nfr merch was one of the worst merches ive seen. I want a new necklace (not the coke one) and holographic posters with signature like The weeknds. Maybe some cute rings AND A BOXSET!!!

I hope there’s a ton of merch bc I’ve been working really hard and saving my money and I neeeeeeed it. This might be weird, but I have obsessive compulsive disorder so when she releases merch I have to have all of it and I don’t feel complete until I do. It gives me anxiety. I don’t even know what merch there will or will not be but it gives me anxiety. So I hope there’s merch and various vinyls. 

Also I wouldn’t mind having a blanket that I can sleep with.
