To have a date would be great, even if it's fake or it's like "new album out December 2024", just some confirmation that it is indeed coming and not "soon"

Last time we saw Lana in the studio was end of August. Does anyone know how long the vinyl production takes? 4-6 months?

Doesn't sound like her voice to me.

Around 4 months yes... I guess it also depends on the label and what plants they are using.

I wonder if now that the pandemic is kinda over (at least business wise) the process got sped up or if it's still slow cause the demand increased like crazy.

 

It's still probably around that time considering a lot of artists that released this October announced their albums in June-July (Tove Lo, The 1975, Ava Max's first date etc)

due to vinyl production issues i think it currently takes anywhere from 3 months to 10-14 months

there's been a crazy increase in vinyl demand and 1 of the 2 main factories for lacquer discs (which are used to make master plates for pressing vinyl) burned down in 2020. on a related note the industry trying to speed up the vinyl-making process has probably impacted audio quality quite a bit so high-quality pressings will take more time (not that lana is aiming for hq pressings)

 

people may have announced albums in july/august and are releasing now, but their records have likely been in production for a while & they were likely done recording the album a long time ago... lana has always been fast but she can only move so fast when other parts of the process are slow

I’ve had enough of false dates. The only acceptable dates are just before a single being released («  coming Friday »).for her albums, I need a preorder to officialise the damn thing. Can’t take another Picsart cover with a « June 32 » caption that doesn’t match any living calendar.
