Candy Necklace title was first publicly revealed on 2022-12-12 and the first scrobble is on the same day. I assume these are just people renaming titles in their music library.

I was hoping to find more unknown titles, but it looks like the scrobbles aren't enough to make it into any of the top 500 Lana track lists.

Maybe this is the right way to get the tracklist?

It's interesting that most of them have four different listeners (and a scrobble for each). So if we find other tracks with this low number and played at the same time (begin of December), maybe they belong to the album.

 

yes I've looked up american whore on lastfm as well before but people can edit their scrobbles so I don't put a lot of faith into this

but interesting that four different listeners had the same idea on the same day. It looks like they listened to the same file(s), but only once and then the tracks seem to disappear or be renamed again.

The title track reminds me of Fine China, in its melancholy and sadness (clearly not for production now that we know we never heard the final mix ). With a bit of the honestly brutal lyrics of NFR (« don’t ask if I’m happy, you know that I’m not »/ « you fucked me so good that I almost said I love you » / « if you hold me without hurting me, you’ll be the first who ever did » ➡️ « open me up, tell me you’ll like it, fuck me to death, love me until I love myself »)

Also, in general, I think the album might be more successful than COCC & BB in the short term, however in the long term I think it might end up being her least streamed album weekly. I don't see how a bunch of 6-7 minute songs that seem to be very experimental will do all that well on streaming. Like clockwork, people will start dragging the album because of it
