Embach 53,155 Posted yesterday at 05:29 PM I've heard that Henry, Come On has music and lyrics, apparently Lana Del Rey will perform the song. I wonder if it's true...I really hope it is true. I apparently don't know the sound of the music and the theme of the lyrics. I've heard some bits that Lana tells over a guitar melody someone named Henry to come on. That's all I know so far.
whitelungswhitepalms 10,311 Posted yesterday at 05:31 PM I remember when she premiered WC at coechella, fuck that was a moment. honestly I don’t care that we might hear the song at stagecoach first before release, I do care that we have to wait that long though. i think there’s always a mystic when artists perform songs that haven’t been released yet at live shows. like princess die by gaga, etc but for fucks sake I need Henry, I need these lyrics, I need to hear the whole song right NEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW 9 Quote IM STRONGER THANALL MY MEN... We were so close as kids - went to the Lake Placid diners together - back when a stack of flapjacks costed 5 cents... man, those were the days. I was actually the first one to hear "Yayo" - although in the original version, she was going to dedicate the track to her grandma and called it "Yaya" but I told her to scrap that and change the lyrics to something people would listen to. You can imagine my reaction when she STILL wrote a track called "Gramma" - thankfully that one wasn't as schmaltzy. I remember we were on the docks one day and she told me she was going to call herself "Lana Del Rey" and move to California - we had a big fight, oh it was awful. We didn't speak for 5 years. Then I met her backstage at a show once, and she pretended not to KNOW me. The Elizabeth I knew is long gone, for all I know, she's a pod person now.
lakemungo2008 11 Posted yesterday at 06:23 PM Who remembers this song "Bittersweet Athem" that Lana put on the setlist several times but never sang? Will she put it on TRPWS?https://x.com/LDRCRAVE/status/1672754138336174086?t=UfWHIx74tt1h6zizl267-A&s=19
barttttender 6,369 Posted yesterday at 07:04 PM I saw a post on X with the snippet of henry saying "this is really what we've been waiting for?" and I have to agree. It's like waiting for Yayo to drop during Paradise era - not very exciting. Hope it doesn't end up being her worst first single. One of the biggest mysteries of this fandom. And didn’t she mention it at one of her shows, when it was cut short, as she was rearranging the setlist with her band that she wanted to do it? But I do remember she named the track on stage.
