Hi guys! I'm new here, been lurking you for a while. I'm super excited for new album. 
I wanted to say how special the title track is for me. 
I love her vocals like wow.. The way she's switching from strong voice to kind of whispering is so deep
 
And that scared me
'Cause I met a man who
Said he'd come back every May
 
Idk this track makes me feel like she's singing about some very traumatic experience and I always feel some kind of numbness after listening to it  like the man she met really hurt her. 
Also the instruments reminds me of Black Beauty demo and I think they might be sister songs 
 

I'm excited + nervous to finally post here after lurking for so long . This album feels so perfect to me. I love all the singles she has released so far and I can't wait to hear the rest of the album! I haven't listened to Nectar of the Gods or Living Legend so I can't wait to hear them, it will be a special listening experience 

I can't wait for this album to come out in 2 weeks and in no doubt Lana will help me to get through the dark days again.

It's true that she has nothing left to prove, but I think she's so interested in singing and poetry that a "farewell" album is a long way off. Covering old classics is just an episode, something she's always wanted to do, but her true destiny lies in writing her own songs. Songs like Text Book, Blue Banisters or Wildflower Wildfire are the beginning of a new era and we will hear a lot more in this style on the next albums, maybe she will finally find her home in it.

I was making masks this summer and wanted to decorate some of them. I thought of putting the words "born to die" with fabric paint on one but then I changed my mind, thought it might be a bit on the nose if people don't get the reference.

We just talked for a little bit, mostly about my trip to California. She was honestly the nicest. We hugged. I was extremely nervous and stuttery 
Thank you guys for the kind comments. It’s funny bc I usually straighten my hair, but I didn’t this morning and when I left my hotel I had a bad feeling about not doing it and not putting on make up and when I saw her I was like omg of course this is happening today when I look terrible lol 

That was me and it was literally the best moment of my entire life. I still haven’t recovered. I didn’t want to post about it here bc I was embarrassed about how I look, but since it’s here… Lana is seriously the best.

only boys would expect a woman to pick out a different type of flower for every single album.  women don't have time for that shit. we don't want to turn flowers into a chore, we want to enjoy them!  strict guidelines are masculine and depressing and we reject it.  every flower for every album!  that's why lana's giving us violets and roses and wildflowers and cherry blossoms all together on this album!  #stopsegregatingflowers

Looking at how proudly some of you parade your tastelessness, I begin to think that we actually deserved CoCC

it's no lackluster, NFR title track  is one of the greatest track she ever created - therefore it's now one of her significant artpiece if i'd have to say.
The lyrics, the vocal performance, the details, the layering, the mixing and that OUTRO - i don't know how to describe but the melody that was written/composed for this particular song is one of the peak moment of her artistry-wise. When i first hear it, all i think about it was just another boring linear kind of ballad, but the more i listened to the song the more i realiz:  there were a lot to dig deep and appreciate in the way Lana joined herself into the production, not just simply "sang" the song.
Regardless of how y'all feel about Jack, i feel blessed because we got "NFR" and "White Dress" as album openers of our 2 latest eras - along with the BB era - "Text Book" - i can say she literally mastered the art of opening an album for real. (But i still prefer "White Dress" over "Text Book" and "NFR", it's just too beautiful to be behind NFR).

Ppl who don’t like the nfr title track dk what its like to transcend it’s undeniably one of the casually coolest tracks she’s ever made. The quality and sound vicinity to it is impeccable. 
 
The song has a levitating quality. And the subject matter, a very important concept. Such good balanced writing. 
 
it’s not a sledgehammer, it’s a magazine on a coffee table or breaking abruptly when the stoplight turns red

Why did y'all decide today was the day to display bad taste?

Literally what did Nikki Lane do  Joking around bit is fine (I've done it here and there myself), but I think people who genuinely hate Lana's friends are weirdos. Anyways, I'm obsessed with Lana's outfit. It'd look so cute in a video...maybe for Thunder
