i think this is actually really good. i finally got around to listening to it. the lyrics are heavenly and she sounds gorgeous. i really relate to it in a lot of ways so it makes me sad to see so many not liking it at all, but what can ya do? everybody has an opinion yknow?

Me. And all of you trashing it...the song will just randomly click with you in 2-3 years and you will be stanning. It's the kind of melody that ages well. You'll see.

Lana deserves to win out of all the people on that list, like that MV was expensive, vote for it....

I tried voting with fake emails that I made up in the spot and apparently "taylorswift13@gmail.com" already voted when i tried using it and whoever used that email voted for Lana

Fingertips is definitely a top 4 track from the album and one of the greatest things she’s ever done lyrically. None of her contemporaries is doing that. I know that it’s a ballad but the absence of a defined structure, the orchestral work with intention behind every swing, the overall unbearable and uncomfortable intimacy of it all… it’s definitely challenging and profound work that must not be mistaken as a simple ballad 
 
I generally admire Jack as a producer but some of his techniques are getting kind of stale at this point. He muffles everything and uses the same drum machine patterns - I wish he could switch it up but our mother loves it so there’s that.

I can't take barttttender opinions seriously since he said Lana should make a song like Old Town Road. 

she can absolutely suit folk/folky music, songs like pawn shop blues, oh say can you see, get drunk, jimmy gnecco, fordham road, your band is all the rage, super movie, yosemite, and literally the entirety of sirens suit her sound and feel very well

I wouldn’t mind more wordy songs like fingertips and kintsugi AT ALL. Quite the contrary those are my favs because they tell a lot about her story and I’m very curious about itthere’s so much we don’t know

They used YTH at the end of the most recent love island UK episode and it's still so surreal knowing this song is out in the world for the mainstream to listen to

Ngl reading this made me really happy  somehow I feel a similiar way about it as you do. When I became a Lana fan it was one of my favourite songs ever , I was obsessed with the Carcassonne live performance & still MPG is one of my faves from UV & it means alot to me, every time I hear it , it reminds of the old times & why I fell in love with her music

like????? Lana hasn’t come to where I live in 5 years…when she announced a show at Jones Beach in NY I didn’t have a mental breakdown on the internet and attack her because I couldn’t figure it out logistically because it was too far. It’s just so entitled that everyone is projecting their personal situations on Lana and saying very rude things about her because they can’t go. It’s just soooooooooooooo ugly and I’ll drag these ungrateful bitches all day.
