I feel that Lana is about to get cancelled again. But I don't care because nothing can break the bond between me and her art

The thing is some of you are insulting towards her and that's really WEIRD bc those disgusting ideas/beliefs come from her man, not her. I know that sucks bc she married an asshole like him, but you guys need to stop calling her a "stupid b*tch" and stuff, it's giving misogyny.

You can express disappointment but you can't be disrepectful towards her. If this hurts you to the point that you can't help but calling her names, get out of this thread, you have nothing to do here.
  3. ANGELINA JOLIE liked a post in a topic by Elle in A note about the recent drama
    Hi all,
I wanted to check in with you all about the recent rise in drama that the mod team and I have noticed over the past couple of weeks. It appears that drama on the site among members is at a peak, so I wanted to pop in and remind you all that LanaBoards won't tolerate certain types of behaviour.
It seems that the drama is especially high in other artists' threads and in world news threads, especially when it comes to hot-topic debates. While LanaBoards welcomes opinions and discussions of different viewpoints, it is important that these opinions are shared and discussed in a respectful manner. As stated in our rules, LanaBoards will not tolerate any posts that are meant to be purposely inflammatory (flaimbaiting to intentionally start an argument) rude, hateful, insulting, or otherwise crossing a line, and members violating this rule will be warned and given restrictions at our discretion. This is something the moderator team is going to be taking very seriously as it is our mission to have LanaBoards be a safe and welcoming space for all.
Something we've especially been noticing a rise in is personal attacks towards other members and people including other artists, which is something we won't tolerate. Let this serve as a reminder that behind the usernames and profile pictures, we are all real people with real feelings. There's no need to make things personal. Please be mindful and respectful of this when communicating with other members. Again, we do welcome varying opinions and healthy, constructive debates, but please keep these respectful. Think before you press reply.
Something else to keep in mind is that not all intense debates need to be made public, especially if they're veering off-topic of the thread. We encourage users to make use of our personal messaging system to have private discussions, but again, please keep these respectful.
We understand that news is slow at the moment on the Lana front so tensions are a little high, but please don't let this translate into disrespect towards others.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns - you all should feel comfortable to reach out to me or another staff member at any time about anything. We are here to help and keep this place safe and enjoyable at the end of the day.
I hope to see things become more peaceful. I'm sending you all lots of love and I hope you all enjoy your weekend x
Let's work it out on the remix~

literally such a disappointing album lol. why serve up a song that has such an interesting beat, punchy lyrics & great vocal fx and then not have any of that present at all on the rest of the album
  7. ANGELINA JOLIE liked a post in a topic by Mer in Lana to be featured on TV series "The New Look" soundtrack with a cover of "Blue Skies" - OUT NOW!
Are they gonna acknowledge the fact that Coco Chanel was a literal Nazi in this series, or are we once again going to get the portrait of a glamorous young entrepreneur who everyone should look up to?

...this is too much Jack at this point. Girl you need to fire him and find someone new to get sparked up again.

  9. ANGELINA JOLIE liked a post in a topic by Ultra Violet in Honeymoon Tenth Anniversary Edition
What I'd really want from Honeymoons 10th anniversary is a live orchestral theatre performance with no audience, only streamed and posted to YouTube. The whole Honeymoon tracklist, with no additions because it's perfect.
And the audio released as well.

lmfaoo your profile pic goes perfectly with your post and I agree about the kits. It's just another money making scheme for EA. Almost all the kits could've been part of a pack.
Kid's Room, Toddler and Backyard stuff would've also fit with parenthood (and parenthood and growing together could've been one pack together lol). Spooky and Paranormal stufff could've been one kit and I still don't understand to this day why werewolves and vampires were made into two different packs. Like, the list goes on and on.
  11. Pico Ocean Boulevard liked a post in a topic by ANGELINA JOLIE in The Sims
Honestly, fuck EA. They charge 40 bucks for a pack and 10 bucks for a Kit with barely any content and the content they do produce is not worth the money. They rely on the mod community to fix their stuff for free (which is also part of the devil's cycle tbh, the mod community needs to stop doing EAs work but that's a whole other can of worms I'm not opening up lmao) while they are the ones cashing it in.
Each update they push out breaks the game even more and that SIM SUMMIT EVENT a while ago was just embarrassing, looking at the quality of their work. Sims 4 base game vanilla isn't even that great of an experience if you don't buy the packs or mod imo. It's laughable that it's now free to play, it's so obvious that they rely on the packs and kits to make profits, which is a very sad sign for the quality of the base game.

I have 700 hours on this game! Love it to death. I do have on and off phases with SDV though, but it has such a special place in my heart it will forever be my favourite game. But I think the on-off phase isn't because of the game but because of my gaming behaviour.
Before I played it, I thought it was just another farming simulator but the story has so many real-life day to day aspects and struggles, love how deep and real the character stories are (trying hard not to spoil), so much so it made me become emotionally attached to 2D pixel characters lol the game is very wholesome but at the same time very real
Also, I cannot praise Eric Barone enough. He essentially developed the game by himself, the art, the music, the programming. You can feel how much love he put in it. He gave us four years after the official game release a free content patch, which was a whole ass game by itself and he put the game on sale during that time (the original game is what, normally only about 14€ for PC??). That patch alone was more than any damn "Early Access" games for 30€ give us these days or EA gives us in any Sims 4 game/extention pack. I only bought the Soundtrack to support him and shove more money down his throat because he deserves it. A lot of people bought the game on every platform just to support him, he is very loved in the community. We are all looking forward to his new game, Haunted Chocolatier that is currently in development.
The game normally costs 13,99€ (on Steam/PC) and is currently on sale for 9,23€. But i've seen it for 4,99€ too sometimes, so if you are unsure about it, I would get it during a sale. The content you get for the price is insane.
Plus, I just got this OST Vinyl Boxset a while ago and it's the cutest damn thing everrr look at it omg
