Why do I have a feeling that this album is going to emotionally destroy us? When she talked about bringing old collaborators, friends and family to write this album...putting old and new songs on it. It's like with this album she's curated everything that defines her. It feels like a farewell and an epilogue to this 10-year chapter. I don't know how I'm supposed to feel. At the end of the day, none of us know what's going on behind the scenes. This could've been something Lana's been thinking about doing for a long time and is finally ready to do, or it could've just been a spur of the moment decision. We don't have all the details and are most likely never going to unless we were told directly by Lana herself. I truly just hope that she's doing well and that this is something that is going to make her happy

And the video itself… it’s just weird. Maybe it’s the conspiracy theorist in me but her facial expressions, the way she smiled, the way she blinked, idk… it gave me the impression that either something really bad happened or she was being forced to do this- which wouldn’t make sense bc she’s always had a lot of freedom to do anything she wanted to. 
I just…don’t know. It just didn’t seem like she was relieved/happy w this decision
