West Coast 45,909 Posted March 25, 2022 Anyway, can't wait to hear Lana & Rob's version of "Somethin' Stupid" à la Frank & Nancy Sinatra on LDR9.

West Coast 45,909 Posted March 25, 2022 NFR definitely has its moments, but you got to love cheap/tinny piano, white noises, flat/bassless tunes, demo-like production & half-spoken/half-hassed vocal delivery. In comparison, except for those couple tracks she allegedly ripped off YouTube or the d-worded website, Blue Banisters does sound much richer. I wonder if we'll actually have more of Rob on this record, hope so.
Rorman Nockwell 57,495 Posted March 25, 2022 I think she should just record the entire album in that pool house of that guy's That sounded ethereal and wonderful And not a piano in sight 4 ur legit gonna look the same stop buying oil of Olay face cream

BUT (tho i know what we complain about) shouldn't we have some faith in lana's ever-growing aesthetic? Cause it is literally why we are all here. Personally im (drunk) excited so see what she brings us after such silence.

domandapiano 12,199 Posted March 25, 2022 Haterz stay pressed, I’m 100% ok if she and Jack make another insanely critically acclaimed record. (You gotta admit the praise directed at NFR is not typical, maybe 1 or 2 records a year get that kind of appraisal, and I will NOT be mad if she gets it again)

I’m pretty sure you can still hear the old Thunder instrumental under the new version too. Half of BB was very poorly put together. Really hoping for no unreleased songs on LDR9.
