Yesssss my favorite part is around minute 7 after the brass band dies down and it pivots into psychadelic rodeo music with that 3 minute zither and shamisen back and forth! So crazy.

The hidden vocals of Kacey Musgraves and Nicki Minaj are amazing!!

OMG and those transitions from yeehaw banjos to Japanese ambience (Sakamoto would be proud!) to Greek bouzouki (so unexpected!) to Arab folk to Bjork's random-ass back vocals (Lana, your mind...!) right before Miss Nikki Lane starts belting out of fucking nowhere and Jeremy's alligators start collectively farting in the swamps - the bubble sound effect is amazing; good job, Jack! - are astonishing. She really said "I'm gonna top both Venice Bitch and A&W with this". Truly career-best work.

wasn't really a fan of when the song transitioned into an Irish Polka and Lana started screaming hate slurs but she came back when the trap beat came in and it slowed down and the three words "BOOM.... LIKE... THAT" hit and then it transitioned into a beautiful nightcore rendition of Boom Like That played out the song. MASTERPIECE!

i don't think we're getting henry this friday bc insiders told us it would be soon-ish not too long ago and she usually doesn't drop singles on friday, but stagecoach is only a month away and i think we'll get a single before then, so probably like a tuesday or wednesday in a few weeks; my guess is April 8th/9th

One of the reasons why I'm so excited is because we don't know anything about the album and there are so many speculations. I'm dying on the inside cause I'm so so so curious but I also like that we don't have a clue. I remember everyone complaining she teased so many songs from NFR back then and people got tired of the snippets quickly but since we're in the dark there's absolutely nothing to get tired of, except for Henry, but she only teased a few seconds and maybe it's just the intro, or the first verse and the song turns out to be completely different from what we've been imagining, or maybe it actually is a more stripped back ballad and I would love it either way. Can't wait to hit the road listening to it if it's calm or shake my ass if it's upbeat x

My excitement is... dwindling. I just visited the page, scrolled through, and thought "god,  this topic is getting tired."

 

No fault of anyone here, of course; you guys are a hoot.

 

But like.... dozens of people waiting around, speculating and cracking jokes about an upcoming album for a year.... when all they know is that there's a song called Henry on it, and a lame-ass title 'The Right Person will Stay' that might change since it had already changed from Lasso into that.

 

It's a testament to y'all that you've made the speculations as fun for as long as you did.

No I get it and I feel you, I'm also freaking out and lowkey going insane because some news would be nice but I'm taking some time to explore other artists and find new music while we don't get anything Lana related. 

 

I'm kinda glad everything's a bit myserious since it will probably be more fun when it finally comes out though I hope we're getting information soon. The album is coming out in a couple months and I respect Lana and her work so I do think artists deserve to have time to finish their creative processes without being rushed or judged for taking a little longer, and if that's the case with her then I'm completely fine with it, but if everything is done I hope she breaks the silence and I bet it will be powerful
