There was no release date. It was a pre-teaser.

 

They'll wait another 7-14 days and post a snippet with the caption: "henry, come on, april 25th". Or whatever day she's at stage coach. It's to generate hype (single and stage coach piggy-backing off each other). 
 

It's all super boring and uneventful. We get an MV if we're lucky but I doubt it.

It's quite folky in production and there are dark undertones as well, so I'd be happy for vibes like this in The Right Person Will Stay songs.

My delulu thoughts of the day: maybe Lana’s team is doing the same as Lady Gaga since they both have the same label. Gaga’s album pre order was only released a month before. So I was thinking… After the special set at stagecoach they will announce the pre order? It could be fun, special set —> pre order

Hmm, in terms of marketing, announcing the album pre-order on the day she performs at Stagecoach (it's a Friday, too!) makes a lot of sense. But I really cannot imagine her waiting *that* long to release "Henry" as well? The general public and the Lana fandom need a taste of the "country" direction of the new era. On the other hand, a minimalist acoustic guitar ballad doesn't sound like something remotely mainstream at all, so who knows what this woman is planning to do...

That would be so amazing! Like she would make such a bold statement by singing this song at a country festival after being silent for years and not saying a single word about what’s happening and then marrying a Trump supporter who wants to beat up trans people.
