GeminiLanaFan 45,798 Posted October 22, 2022 After having spent a day with this album, I can honestly say Midnights is a pop gem, a masterpiece that refined all her pop era albums while keeping some of the “vulnerability” of her folk ones. i usually think that all of her albums are often bloated with too many songs; Midnights has so many surprises that you can’t feel like skipping tracks, and there are just two songs I don’t like (Midnight rain : she shouldn’t have distorted her voice so much / Sweet Nothing: would have worked better as a piano ballad rather than a 80s synth song) I still don’t consider myself a Swiftie, but I do get why Swifties adore her: She spoiled her fans with this release. 6 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
