I’m absolutely not forgetting. That was beyond stupid and excessive. 11 months between ‘lead’/promo single and album better never happen again. 
 

April-September would be the same amount of time we had between the three blue banisters singles and album. And while even that was annoying (especially because she kept throwing fake dates around) it still wasn’t terrible

i think she did the single timing perfectly with ocean blvd

only 4 months (ish) between the lead single and album release

My guess would be Lasso/Henry as a lead single and then the alleged Quavo collab as the more out there song
