I wish she’d let fans design her merch 

It’s difficult cos you’d need to hear the album and know the tracklist ideally, but she could provide a mood board instead and ask fans to submit designs based on it, and whatever she thinks fits her vision best, gets made

That’d be super fun for the fanbase as a whole cos even if people didn’t want to submit smthn they’d still have a mood board to obsess over and discuss

Lmaooo in my dream last night I thought I was talking to Lana in a movie lineup and we were just having a great convo talking about life and movies and then right before the chat was gonna end I asked her about Lasso and then she winked and handed me a CD that said The Right Person Will Stay. It had 9 songs and the titles were more or less jibberish and it blew my mind. I rushed to my friends who were waiting in the car and I was like freaking out asking them if it was real or if I was dreaming and we all agreed it was not a dream cus it felt too real, and then I rushed home to listen to the CD and then right before I pushed play I got really suspicious cus I suddenly realized that it was Nicole Kidman I was talking to in the line not Lana LOL then I woke up

things i’d like from “The right person will stay” 

 

1. personally i’d love it to be a solo album with no features i don’t mind 1 or 2 or even tracks like paris texas or grandfather if she samples and instrumental or was to feature a producer

 

2. MORE MUSIC VIDEOS, i know music videos are a dying art form and artists aren’t getting the budgets they used to but i think with some really nice visuals it can elevate an album so much 

 

3. i’d love more upbeat songs this album dosent sound like it will but then again we know practically nothing aside from henry but you can have sweet love songs and also make them bops (please i need DRUMS and ELECTRIC GUITARS)

 

4. i think the henry snippet is cute it’s really catchy but i really hope she changes her mind and it’s not the lead single or that was a demo snippet and she changes it up production wise, i know lana hasn’t been the best with singles the past few albums so please i beg let someone nudge her into giving us a bop

Somehow this wait hasn’t felt nearly as bad as NFR, despite being longer.

 

with the album (apparently) coming out in May I don’t want a single until like February or March, because once we get our first single, and the pre release actually starts, that’s when it gets grueling

ikr? i think mariners and venice coming out WAY too early in the rollout played a huge factor… that was like the worst rollout ever i hope she never does that again

I love an interlude, but with the record only having 13 songs I don’t want to feel short changed on songs 

 

features are always my least favourite, there’s not one song Lana has done with a feature where the solo version wasn’t better (from the demos we have)

Interludes are fillers, they should be outros or intros of the song instead or used in music videos (like The Trio in Arcadia), unless she sings/speaks in it like Burnt Norton or Stargirl.
