I feel like her comments say a lot.

The fact that we’ve received complete radio silence from her for 4 months + this dragging of a fan indicates that she has no desire to be in the public eye right now. I wonder if she has always requested this to fans or if this is a newer thing. We’ll never know because we’ll never see the pics 🤷🏻‍♀️ (which at the end of the day, it’s valid if she’s doesn’t want them posted).

I speculate that this is because she’s trying to keep her and Jeremy’s lives as lowkey as possible, probably for his sake.

I think I’m just taken aback by her swift backlash to this person. There was surely a less volatile way to go about this situation

I wonder if Lana telling fans to not post their selfies together is a new thing or not. I genuinely struggle to believe no one has seen her all year so I would not be surprised at all if this is not her first time doing this :toofunny:

She has been doing this for years but she usually just tells fans to wait a couple days before posting it so it doesn't expose her location

We'll never know how hard it is for her in terms of paps and being in the public eye. She was stalked, bullied, she wrote entire songs about running away from publicity (13 Beaches, Bartender).

That being said, there's no need to drag a fan down publicly and mock them for the "I promise" line. Not when you yourself lie to your fans pretty much every time you open your mouth.

I’m sorry but if Lana didn’t want the pic out there she should not have posed for it. Plenty of celebrities refuse pics. She could’ve chatted with the girl, given her a hug, and politely declined posing for a selfie and I’m sure that girl would’ve been just as happy :runs:

I still think it's disrespectful and selfish of the girl. Lana gave her the selfie out of good faith and trust that she would only use it for herself, and the girl coldly exploited this trust.

and to both of these posts that shaded me, it was harmless joke, nobody gaf that much

plus, she's spoken about how much she wants a child, so it's not insensitive or rude to speculate about it, even if i was, because her having a child would be wonderful and we would all be so happy for her, i hope she does have one if that's what she wants in life, so take a chill pill or log off and touch grass, bc it rly ain't that serious

It unfortunately is that serious. This isn’t just about Lana, it’s a broader issue that affects women everywhere. Not to get "that one friend that's too woke" and all, but speculating about a woman’s pregnancy is invasive and can be hurtful in ways you might not realise. Women already have to deal with our bodies being overly scrutinised and being confined into specific gender roles. Some of us don't want kids, some of us can't have kids. It can cause a great deal of pain for us to be reminded of our personal struggles when complete strangers feel entitled to our to body or personal life. I've watched my sister battle severe endometriosis, which ultimately required life-saving surgery to remove a tennis ball-sized cyst from her ovaries. She can't have children anymore, but still has to deal with pregnancy questions on a regular basis. I know people often mean well or think they're just making harmless jokes, but as a general rule of thumb, please just leave women be.

“Nobody gaf that much" — yes we do. More than you might think.

Exactly! The way I see it, even if Lana didn’t ask her not to post it, it’s kinda disrespectful to get home post pictures in a public account and make 100 comments about the interaction, like ???? Famous people are just people and privacy is so important to them, why would you do that?

Maybe it was a misunderstanding? Maybe! But let’s not pretend like there aren’t a lot of people out there that would straight up lie about not posting the picture and would end up posting anyway :pls:

Last week or so, Scarlett Johansson gave an interview and one part of it became controversial amongst her fans. She said that she declines all the fan photo requests when they see her in town or something, because of privacy reasons.

What would you think about that situation, if Lana said now it's enough and won't take photos with fans anymore, like if they see her in town (not in her concerts or events)

Also, if she doesn't want that photo out there, maybe we should remove it from here as well or?
