haven’t listened to the full song yet but i have listened to a fair bit of it and yea Garden of Eden is just giving 2000s cosplay which is what i was worried about - i’m personally not a fan of that since we have so many people already riding that wave in pop and i don’t feel like the approach is creative enough to justify how reductive the song itself is (at least from what i heard, maybe there’s an insane switch up towards the end that i haven’t heard or something lol). but that’s just my opinion! still excited for the rest of the album!  i wonder when she’ll announce the tour? and do we think it’s gonna be an eras-style tour like was rumoured?

Well, here goes my dark industrial album...so disappointed right now for one simple reason - singles sold to me a different album. Need to comeback to this with a fresh mind now that I know the direction of album.
I guess this fun sound works better for spring, so I'm sure I'll like it in the end.

Man, this was disappointing! Like, I don’t even have comprehensive criticism, it’s as simple as “meh”, which is wild because when Gaga is good, she’s the best in terms of dance pop songwriting, and when she’s bad, it’s at least camp. I literally can’t remember anything. Perfect Celebrity and Shadow Of A Man were enjoyable, I think.

So I finished the album and guess what...Die With A Smile fits better on it than Disease and Abracadabra. I think I couldn't even enjoy half of the songs cause the whole era and build up was SO misleading. The album is funky and fun and that's good but not what I came for. Honestly not even sure anymore if I wanna see her on tour for this album.
