yeah but that was when it was still Lasso by september

since TRPWS announcement, ed, ben, luke, and even neil have said smthn but jack (who is the main producer) has said nothing

the year's gonna go fast, and then new years, and then 2nd week of Jan when everyone tries to recuperate from all the holiday stuff. February for a cooler time period. 
birthday in feb so I'll be occupied til then to March.

A theory: he did a lot of work on the country album over the years,  using benjos and diving into the country aesthetics. But then Lana decided to move away from that direction. Then he had to jump on another project (Kendrick Lamar?), and she rejigged it with Zach and other minor producers. So, he just doesn't care as much before or doesn't think it's as "brilliant." That's why he said "let's move off that topic" the last time he was asked.
