19 likesA lot of the resentment in this community also has to do with the fact that she's one of the most successful artists out there and no longer feels the need to communicate with fans as often as she used to... and I think people are shocked! that she's actually enjoying time with her family and friends compared to relying on self-worth from freaks in this community Probably because those people in her life actually emotionally fulfill her and don't tear her down like some losers in this thread. 12 likesOcean Blvd was top 4 of all albums in 2023 https://www.acclaimedmusic.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=14481 A&W was top https://www.acclaimedmusic.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=14480 her music is still the best of the best, and just because she took a year almost off doesn't mean she's in decline

11 likesso just because she married someone with questionable beliefs, it somehow makes it okay for you to make weird nazi jokes about her? you need to stop pretending you give a shit about the issues you want to appear to care about you don't like her anymore? you don't want to support her anymore? fine, suit yourself, but put your money where your mouth is and stop wasting your time and energy logging onto a website dedicated to her, and filled with people who love her and her music enough to have accounts on it with thousands of posts, and arguing with them, you aren't going to achieve anything by doing that

11 likes...anyway, let's go back to enjoying, loving, and celebrating one of the most talented musicians of our time, lana del rey, much to the dismay of certain people who are bitter, miserable, have clearly have nothing better to do!

11 likesI will never understand why someone would spend so much energy on something so negative. You should have gone for a run or to the gym or whatever. It's the Internet, if you don't like something just close your browser window and you don't have to bother other people's lives with your bitter life. because -> Anyway, let me stay on topic... I think trpws will be something completely different from what we've heard so far. And it doesn't bother me at all that we know almost nothing about this album. I'm looking forward to the surprise. It's Lana fuckin Del Rey - it's going to be great as always

10 likesLDR 10 - The right person will stay my opinion: i hope she does something different this album, and don’t get me wrong i loved her last few albums and “did you know […]” is my favorite album by her. However i also do think it’s time for a new chapter — a completely new chapter I don’t want it to sound like “born to die” or “ultraviolence” nor do i want it to sound like “norman fucking rockwell”, don’t get me wrong these albums are all amazing but they had their moment! I want something surprising, and yes, also a minimalist-sounding album can do that for me but in lana’s case not really, she headed towards the simple country sound ever since “norman fucking rockwell” but never really elevated it. And even though I’m exited for the new album and I don’t rely my opinion on an not even released album on an insider, I hope that this album surprises us all. I want big beautiful visuals, I want music videos as big as the “Love” music video, i want her to be “Lana Del Rey” true to herself but still that exciting and mysterious artist we all know. i recently saw a picture of her at a “lust for life listening party”, she had a big smile on her face, and she looked proud of the work she created. I want that smile on her face back for “the right person will stay”! I think she is capable of doing her best work in the next 5-10 years if she’s just doing what she’s doing the best creating a magical world for the album with visuals and sound. here is the picture from the lust for life listening party: well that was a lot but i think many of us can relate to what i just said!

10 likesthis is very interesting because even though i love her recent sound as well as the 2012-2017 sound, the old songs really made us dive into the music because we were brought to the most atmospheric music ever. she created worlds, universes using production. and i do think that what’s lacking is that she thinks that she needs to get rid of that to have more stripped down and simple songs. and that’s not necessary. yosemite is really stripped down but still makes us dive into her little world. i miss that. somebody needs to tell her that it’s possible to be simple and still atmospheric!

Hi all, just wanted to pop in and let you know that LanaBoards received a DMCA takedown notice from the RIAA for the snippets shared of Headlinez in this thread. As you all know, sharing links to copyrighted material intended for release is strictly against our rules, but unreleased material is sort of a grey area. To err on the side of caution, please do not share leaks to any new current material from the past era. Receiving frequent takedown notices like these could put LanaBoards in jeopardy, so I'd like to be as safe as possible here to prevent anything resulting in the loss of our site. Thank you x -

9 likessame! i’m really sad seeing a good part of the fandom wishing her divorce when she already stated how happy she is with her relationship that being said, @motel six please bring a new subject

9 likesShe finished Ocean Blvd in September of 2022, right? Think of all the gems she’s recorded since then 😍😍😍 She must have experimented with a wide variety of sounds and styles in the last 2 years therefore she probably has some bops in the vault all I’m asking for is one - just one - to be included on TRPWS, Lana

8 likesIt's never someone who really is concerned about lana's behavior or thoughts. It's always a whiny stan who wants her to be stuck in the same genre , sound and lyrics over and over pissed because in their heads SHE OWES her fame or artistry to them. Im not that interested in the concept of this new era but i trust her to show me something different, she always does.

7 likesI understand your feelings about the album, and in my more positive, objective moments, agree. We know almost nothing about TRPWS--look how different OB was from BB in terms of tone and mood--they are at least to me. Or how different Norman was from LFL. TRPWS might be fantastic, and while it seems it will be a mellow, slow, 'serious' album of countrified piano and acoustic guitar songs that are't too lyrically deep, as Hope and WFWF were, we also know LDR isn't always very accurate when describing her forthcoming music. Clearly, she and her team don't want to give much away. My hopes are not high, but that's just me.
