so for those of you who are wondering what this is about, Farm Aid is an annual benefit concert started by Willie Nelson. Neil Young was also involved.

 

This year it enters its 35th year. The concerts purpose is to support farmers.

 

This year its supporting farmers during the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic threats they face. This years event will also address climate change and how it affects farming. In addition to that the issue of racial justice will be addressed by this benefit concert.

 

it will be held in a virtual format. 
 

Even though Lana herself is not in the lineup, she believes in this cause and this is why she is promoting this event.
