I remember listening to Gramma on amazon, it was a free download so I gave it a go, I remember hearing Kill Kill in 2010 too! I saw a couple of her live Lizzy Grant videos on the Internet and wished I lived in America to see her but then she sort of disappeared, I had no idea she became Lana until I googled Lana Del Rey after listening to Video Games on repeat for a while :')

This is probably my favourite song from Ultraviolence!! It's spine chillingly beautiful in a desolate, empty way! The lyrics are so beautiful and the repetition in the chorus adds to that feeling, it doesn't feel overdone at all! This song is ethereal, there are no other words for it!

She didn't put her name on the Ultraviolence billboards either remember?
Personally, I like the photo, she looks really pretty!
 
Also, look at all her covers:
Born To Die she is centre of the image staring forward with her head straight, same as Paradise, but AKA and Ultraviolence she is stood slightly off centre with her shoulders slanted and her head tilted! This could mean nothing but I thought it was worth noting?

Maybe FMWUTTT doesn't mean as in fame, maybe it means as in like top 'Queen' like she likes to call herself a lot?
Or to the top of someone's attentions? It might not mean what it first appears to mean

I don't understand why people say this every album release? What reason does she have not to release another album I truly do not understand the logic

Change (a masterpiece Lana produced in four hours after she dragged Rick Nowells to the studio the night before she was supposed to hand the album over to her label) meeting Looking For America (a masterpiece Lana wrote, produced and released in the spam of 24 hours after she dragged Jack Antonoff all the way from NYC to LA)

Omg she is SERVING it!! The cover is brilliant, i’m actually glad she broke the trend tbh? The cover is just so ‘American Kitsch’ which is exactly what I associate with the art of Norman Rockwell, and it totally matches the sound of the album so far!
 
SCREAMING about Best American Record finally getting released, I wonder if she’ll have changed it up at all?
 
Anyway, LOVE the aesthetic, absolutely excited for this album, bring on these two videos - for real, i’m SO here for this new aesthetic?

Chuck isnt even bad, look at the shoot with grimes for example. This is clearly what lana wants

PREACH! I’m glad she abandoned the straight on headshot in front of a car thing, it’s nice to change stuff up and experiment! And to me this cover really nails a modernised ‘American Kitsch’ that really taps in to the vibe of Norman Rockwell’s work?
 
It’s just such an interesting cover - her pose pulling us into her world, the painted sky, the burning city, the guy in black while she wears bright neon, her expression, everything’s is just so interesting?

I don't think she really thought about that. I'm not even sure if she pays attention to those kind of details anymore. I just believe the track is very personal and close to her, and she felt like "hope" was a nice message to end a work with.
