Moments ago, Lana Del Rey joined Paul Cauthen to do a surprise performance of Unchained Melody at Stagecoach in Indio, California.

From later in the night while backstage at The Beach Boys’ performance with Guy Fieri and Mike Love - She is so stunnnnning she always looks amazing in white. The dress reminds me a bit of the iconic ‘Ride’ dress!! Xx

Not with a headliner, not even on the main stage, and this is where she fucking shines. Beyond excited for Lasso. It truly feels like she’s found her people, she looks so fucking happy. A turtlenecks is a (usually) think piece of clothing that covers your entire torso and neck. I think she means she was told she had to cover her story/herself up. Every time she tired to ‘tell her story’ they attacked her and told her to be quiet so she felt like she had to cover it all up otherwise there would be a million and one think pieces about her it’s crazy that Lana fans still think she’s some unknown indie artist while headline Coachella and having one of the longest charting billboard albums

Seeing Lana, from Chemtrails, flirting with the country little by little, to this day with her attending music festivals and wearing country fashion on a daily basis makes me think that this project could perhaps turn out to be the best-crafted aesthetic project since Born To Die. Like, you clearly see that she's just as excited as before. It's not good to create expectations, because it could actually come up with something more intimate and simple. But, just like her debut, seemingly harmless at first, her country debut can definitely reinvent the wheel.

Looking statistically at Lana’s past albums for my predictions (and assuming Lasso will be around 12 tracks, that number just feels right to me) - 2 & 4 will be the average fan favourite (often single material) and 6 & 11 will be the true stan favourite (deep cuts made popular by fan listening) 1, 3, 7, & 12 will either be major hits or major misses. 9 & 10 will be growers/underrated. Fans will either absolutely love or absolutely hate 5. 8 will likely be a skip for most. Going off of absolutely nothing but average track rankings for her albums… My personal early ranking prediction is: 6, 3, 11, 10, 7, 9, 5, 1, 8, 12, 4, 2 Average fan/LB member ranking will be: 3, 4, 2, 6, 10, 11, 5, 1, 9, 8, 12, 7 See u all on release day to compare these to the actual results xx

good evening, racers me (mitski) and my team have been hard at work this evening curating our look for the camp couture week 1 challenge instead of tired camp gay culture looks you know and expect, we took a literal approach, and incorporated camping into our look, with a custom versace gown and a headdress made of rare leaves from the amazon rainforest. what is more camp than making nature eccentric and cvnty! we shot in two different locations to maximise the natural effect of the look now that is what you call a glamazon lookbook look 1 - camp(site) realness look 2 - rainforest goddess raw image - it’s camp!
