82nd Golden Globe Awards
Escapism and 38 others liked a post in a topic by Embach
I cannot be that delusional, the signs are there! On Instagram, her hairstylist and make-up artist posted these stories! Is it possible that Lana attends the 82nd Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles, California on January 5th, 2025? I don't know any other famous client of theirs besides LDR!? Her hairstylist Anna Cofone's Instagram Story: Her make-up artist's Etienne Ortega Instagram Story: Also her friend, actress Margaret Qualley (who is also married Lana's producer to Jack Antonoff) is nominated for Best Supporting Actress In A Motion Picture, so it could be very possible that she attends there to support her! -

35 likesDavid Lynch, the writer-filmmaker whose works include Mulholland Drive and Twin Peaks, has died aged 78. Lynch's death was announced on his Facebook page by his family. "There's a big hole in the world now that he's no longer with us," the post said. "But, as he would say, 'Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.' … It's a beautiful day with golden sunshine and blue skies all the way." https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cly9vymjexvo RIP to the one of the greatest filmmakers of all times.

26 likesLana Del Rey has declined to be featured in upcoming documentary 'Ladies & Gentlemen...50 Years of SNL Music' following the director's request. In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Oscar-winning filmmaker Questlove, the director of the upcoming Saturday Night Live [SNL] music documentary 'Ladies & Gentlemen...50 Years of SNL Music', stated that he reached out to Lana Del Rey in hopes to have her be featured in the documentary to discuss the negative critisim received for her performance on SNL in 2012. He said, "I wanted to reach out to anyone that’s ever caught bullets for a performance, and so instantly I reached out to both Lana Del Rey and to Ashlee Simpson. Both, understandably, not knowing what kind of storyteller I am, declined, and I get it. 'This is something I want to put behind me. I don’t want to be known as the person that messed up on SNL.' I think if I just pressed harder and gave them the 'my aim is true' standpoint, maybe I could have pushed a little further, but I understood." Lana Del Rey recently alluded to her infamous SNL performance through her Coachella billboard which stated "Has Anyone Else Died For You?" with an image of a cross alongside the text "Lana Del Rey SNL Jan 14 2012" printed on the lower right corner. The documentary is set to premiere on Monday, January 27th at 8/7c on NBC, and will be available to stream the following day on Peacock. The three-hour special broadcast event includes a look back at some of the show's 900+ musical guests and promises "untold stories behind the culture-defining, groundbreaking, and news-making musical performances, sketches, and cameos of the past 50 years."

25 likesThe only artist in history to impact me as greatly as Lana has, maybe more so. Discovering Twin Peaks during my first year of university was life changing. His work has had a huge impact on my creativity, and his outlook on life is greatly inspiring. What a unique and incredible soul he had, and his art is the greatest to ever be captured on film. No one saw the world like he did and we are so lucky to have witnessed some of the wildness that his mind had to offer. He managed to delve into the darkest parts of the human soul in the most thrilling ways, while always making sure that the humour and the light stayed just as prominent and powerful as the evil that surrounds us. Rest in peace you magical man, thank you for everything you've given the world. <3

Hi all, just wanted to pop in and let you know that LanaBoards received a DMCA takedown notice from the RIAA for the snippets shared of Headlinez in this thread. As you all know, sharing links to copyrighted material intended for release is strictly against our rules, but unreleased material is sort of a grey area. To err on the side of caution, please do not share leaks to any new current material from the past era. Receiving frequent takedown notices like these could put LanaBoards in jeopardy, so I'd like to be as safe as possible here to prevent anything resulting in the loss of our site. Thank you x -

24 likesI, your gracious host for the evening, have arrived! I was at Lipsterchella, leanin' on your shoulder... Watchin' your French husband swing in time... & yes, I really am sitting all dressed up like this on my bedroom floor as we speak x

24 likesHonestly what is happening with this, no bts insta posts from a video or photo shoot. Like nothing. One year old snippet, two titles, and no other info. Idk if this is the least hyped I might have ever been and I’ve been here since day one. I’m sure the record will be fine if and when it comes but it doesn’t feel as if it’s going to be an exciting era in any way.

24 likesThis girl used to post a ton on Leaked.cx and was a major menace there. Really rude, nasty person. The authorities definitely did not find all her ill-gotten assets, either. She had tons of Ariana Grande material (none of which was mentioned in these articles and which I know for a fact made her a lot of money) and had claimed to have made over $150,000 selling hacked stuff, while the authorities only managed to track down £42,000.

Coming together as a community to celebrate our favourite (and, perhaps, least favourite) members through these awards is always so special for me. Let's carry on to the next set of awards that matches that sentiment of the highs and lows on the boards! and the winner is... @Embach Runner up: @shadesofblue and the winner is... @fl0r1dakil0s Runner up: @Lindsay Lohan Congratulations! 22 likesOh my god. What the fuck. I'm actually lost for words. I don't know what to say, seriously. You know, I didn't really came to the awards hoping for a win because all I was looking for was a lot of fun and great company - which we got, it was really awesome and chaotic. Francesco, you're so damn funny, your humor was truly the peak of the night, each post got funnier, I've never had much fun laughing and reading your posts. It was joyful to read ultrablvd's posts as well, your humor is also amazing. Please, you two must win an award next year!!! I love this place. I really wish I had joined earlier when I discovered this website in 2020. The time didn't feel right then though. Here, I truly feel myself. All weird and delusional, maybe it's that way because it's the Internet, most of us are here behind our screens with Lana as our profile photo icon, all of us either smiling, laughing, crying and vibing, sharing our love and admiration for a one certain person. That's the closest we could get to world peace. All of my life I had waited for a perfect place like this. And I'm so happy that I found it. This place changed my life and I think it made me a better person as well. Looking all those awards I've won, I really do not think I deserved to win them (maybe except Most Active because I spend embarrassing amount of time here posting and commenting) because I haven't been here as a member for a long time and I feel that other members were more deserving of that because they have defined this place and I admire them so much. They make this place whole. Many of my fellow nominees in different categories were people I already loved when I was just a lurker. To be nominated alongside them was already a huge honor because perhaps they were the true reason I finally joined the forum. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who voted for me in this category or any other category I was nominated. It's heartwarming and sometimes flattering as well some people here were thinking of me while nominating and/or voting for me in those award categories. I'm very grateful for the warm welcome and support I have received since I joined this forum a bit over a year and a half ago. You're all so kind and friendly which is really heartwarming, even the winners of the rudest and dramatic awards are inside all awesome and cool, the pinnacle of the forum's humor and drama - which without I can't really imagine this place. The world leaders should all learn something from you everyone because I feel like this is our happy place which could make this world better. Like, the passion and commitment for this community is really admirable. Shoutout to the fellow nominees of Lipster Of The Year Award: Pantene123 - you're so cool, you were truly the highlight of 2024 here. I'll never forget those jaw-dropping moments where we were reading all of these riveting insights on Lana's unreleased music which without the fandom would be so different. Your humor is also great, keep up the good work! Mer - you're so iconic. You're a true superstar of this fandom. I love reading your status updates and your endless support for Taylor Swift is a great example for being loyal fan and ignoring all the haters. Congratulations for all your sweeps, so deserved! Dark Angel - you sweet beautiful soul, I love your enchanting presence here, I admire your love and knowledge for Lizzy Grant, I have learned a lot about Lana from you. Elle - I can't imagine this place without you. You're the rock of this forum. A goddess. You've carried this place for almost 10 years and your work is worth all the admiration. It's an honor for Lana to have a fan like you, I really hope you'll meet her this year as well! Congratulations for your deserved sweeps as well! Also, some highlights and stunning moments of those awards - I'm so fucking happy for venice biotch, she came and swept the awards she was truly deserving of. Your designed rats are truly the cultural phenomenon of this site for years to remember. I was rooting for the thread to win since its inception. BethDufreneByTheBayouByYou winning their second consecutive award for Best Username shows how amazingly creative some users can be. I'm so happy that The Stargirl Pinky won the Bartender Award because this whole time they were praying to win this award and when they deservingly won they were so happy, it made me really joyful as well. I'm so happy that DeadSeaOfMercury and Pico Ocean Boulevard won the Underrated Member awards, they're the people I have already admired before actually joining the forum. Ivory Almonds winning their awards was a special moment as well, I can't imagine the site without them. Today, there were so many other winners here as well who truly deserved their winner and runner-up awards, I'm so happy for you. I'm happy for all the people who were nominated as well, these were all deserved and I hope to see you and other people nominated next year too! This speech is getting so long, sorry for being too sentimental sometimes, if I performed this onstage I think I would have been kicked out already, lol. But nevermind, my endless gratefulness and joy is never enough to put into words. I'm honored to share this award with all of the fellow nominees - @Pantene123 @Mer @Dark Angel and @Elle - you were the ones to truly define the community and the forum in 2024. You're all such gorgeous people inside and out, so kind and friendly, also with great taste in music. All of your posts were worth waiting and reading for. I love you all so much to the moon & back and I'm sending all of my kisses and hugs to you. Thank you. ♡

22 likesIf this album is a bit of a reset on her persona / totally new direction after the last 3 records then I hope she works with someone new on the album artwork. She’s reinvented herself numerous times through her career: from Lizzie to cinematic sadcore Lana to west coast grunge rock and roller to Honeymoon’s lush old Hollywood jazz singer to 60’s hippie beginning to self reflect on her place in the world to deeply introspective poet who can’t get off her piano. I hope she puts effort into the visuals again even if (actually, especially if) TRPWS is an acoustic guitar, stripped down album.
