I must say that neither the « cover » or title give Southern gothic vibes, but I had been expecting it tbh: she never was very good at describing her music. Not wrong just not to the full scope of things

I wish we we're going to get another cinematic album from Lana but I know I have to let that go... Lust for Life is the last album we're probably ever going to get like that.

So, I hope more for a more expressive font and, of course, the presence of her name. Is it dangerous enough for a user like me to have?

i'm sorry but a cover of an album really plays an important role on how i imagine the overall vibe of the songs  ( for me at least )

And it seems to me that this will be a kind of transition album to something more. But I don't want to give up the idea that she will give us a new magnum opus 

 

In the end, she decided to focus on her condition again. We know what surrounds her at the moment, and we are really able to understand her or at least give an opportunity to make her new manifesto and talk it out  (what else remains for us to do)

I must say though that I’m very surprised by this turn of events: a single post clarified A LOT (the timeline of the two singles, Henry not being scrapped, and being the lead, the producers and number of tracks…)

 

So, about that... Not to be a Negative Norman, but what is the timeline of the two singles? Two singles before StageCoach (April)?

 

Didn't she already say "two singles before January," and then completely forgot

 about that? Why should we trust this statement?

 

With the format of the "cover" being all wrong, I think it's safe to assume the actual cover is still WIP. Hopefully, the record title too. It's so bad.

 

It's like "What's meant for you won't pass you by", "If they wanted to, they would", or "Actions speak louder than words."  Yeah, duh. We know. It's all over sad folks' blogs, Twitters and instagram accounts.

 

Why would anyone choose a truism for an album title? When "Lasso" is right there?

 

Most importantly, how did we go from "Born to Die," "Ultraviolence," and "Norman Fucking Rockwell," which are so powerful and evocative, to "The Right Person will Stay"?

May 21 could be an intentional statement, perhaps she's singing about all the things she addressed in her QFTC post

The fact she has decided upon her 13 tracks for the album and the fact that she’s touring the month after: i think the album is coming in may, but perhaps on the friday instead.

I really like the title. In all her albums there has been this backdrop of her portraying herself as «too much» in her relationships, that she needs to change. «The right person will stay» shows how far she’s come in regards of personal development and self acceptance.
