aquatics a bore? not for mitski it’s not. introducing my look for this weeks aquatic couture category sporting a custom versace swimsuit, featuring a lyrca bikini bralette and a pencil thin swim skirt for lounging by the pool, mitski couldnt look more the part. the theme was couture, and thats what i am giving this week! this aint no boring target swimsuit henny sporting a custom versace lilo made for mitski herself, she is swimming in the pool dua lipa shot her album cover for 'radical optimism' - with the original shark from the album cover making an appearance. this is to fit with the shark week theme my stylist has opted for an italian sunset view for her shoot today, and it conveys the summer pool vibe i wanted to bring serving even in black and white - i would like the judges to consider the fact i had to submit in b&w, and appreciate i was still able to serve runway couture even whilst being sabotaged! my submission: lookbook (not my submission but for context): custom versace look custom versace pool floatie - the definition of couture! Hi judges. This week, I am taking Shark Week *quite* seriously. I am posing on an 100% real shark, wearing a gorgeous one piece, paired with white leggings. The hair is a bit much, I must say, however it's CRAZY, which is the vibe I wanted to give off. The shark isn't going to eat you alive, but I will!

🌊🩵 aquatic chic 🩵🌊 Behold, my Little Monsters of LB This week I emerge from the depths of the ocean, as siren of the sea 🧜‍♀️ My look this week holds elegance and is dripping with mystique. I thought I’d make my entry a splash but make it slay as I always do. My long, flowy aqua dress, with fabric mirroring the movement of the waves crashing down on shore. What really makes this outfit pop is when I activate my water-bending skills. Watch out Poseidon, with a flick of my wrist, I summon the sea to dance around me. So lovelies, this right here is aquatic chic at its finest, 🌊 Everlasting beauty and the power of the sea 🌊

LANA DEL REY'S VINTAGE AQUATIC CHIC SWIMSUIT For this look, I wore this vintage americana 1940s-1950s swimsuit that I got from a vintage store in Berkeley that I paid $8000 for. The store owner said that Marilyn Monroe wore it only for 2 hours at the beach. It conveys this feeling of nostalgia and a longing for a past which is now gone. I also wore these beautiful, bedazzled, kitsch statement earrings that I stole from Lizzy Grant's New Jersey trailer home while she was out doing an interview. I heard that she wore them in an unseen music video she made in 2008 that was uploaded online then was deleted 2 minutes later. I'm so glad I managed to get them, as they really complete my look. For my makeup, I painted my lips red to seem like cherries in the spring. I also wore mascara, eyeliner, and some eyeshadow that once belonged to Sylvia Plath. That's at Ieast what the Sephora employee said. I also painted my nails with red nail polish despite going into the bright blue ripples of the water. You can never have too much glamour. Last but not least, my hair is inspired off of old Hollywood glamour and I dyed it a darker shade of brown, since my baby said he would make it nighttime all today if he had his way so it would fit the mood of his soul.

Confessional -------- There's something fishy going on and it's not @lmdr's pussy... For this fierce photoshoot, I've decided to take my "fish" for a dip in the tub. Decked out with orange slices as a nod to the iconic Coco Montrese, one of my beloved RuGirls, I'm serving up some serious citrus chic vibes. And let's talk about this swimsuit silhouette, honey! It's making waves underwater and giving me that extra sparkle with this beautiful yellow color. Let's face it, no RuPaul's photoshoot is complete without showing off these gorgeous legs! Take all this chic fish in honey...

Well you don't have tell me twice, this is my take on Aquatic Chic you know, it's giving athletic siren washing ashore! So I'm showing a little skin, on my sandy bikini you know. Unlike many of these other girls you can tell I'm not scared of getting wet, I feel like I'm killing it and I hope the judges can see that too.

That's definitely a typo, trust Instagram to not spellcheck its important announcement I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I understand why they would make a move like this. I constantly have to report accounts for using my copyrighted photos to sell their own products, which is soooooooooo incredibly frustrating. Even when someone gives credit, it's still an infringement of copyright because most photographers/creators license their photos to brands for a fee. As is usually the case, it's nuanced. HOWEVER, obviously that's not the case for Lanaboards/fan pages. Since the guidelines actually doesn't mention anything about deleting accounts (I think), I'm not sure why they've taken down the LB IG instead of just not recommending it?? Not that either is desirable! It seems like what should have happened according to the new rules is all LB IG followers should see the posts as usual, they just won't appear in the explore page etc. Hopefully it's a hiccup while they roll out these new changes and the account will be back up soon? Presumably even Lana will have to deal with this, since she often reposts fan-made edits ... I wouldn't put it past Coachella, but yes, this is a huge change that's going to affect all accounts which repost content, like LanaBoards. PS. Disclaimer I love the LB IG account and I don't want it to go

I was reading some of the old threads from 2017 and found this (a transcription from Summer Bummer/Groupie Love premiere radio interview): So TLSP collaboration sessions lasted from December 2016 - March 2017, that's interesting I wonder how did the sessions overlap with LFL sessions. And sometimes I wonder, how much of their work supposed to be LFL because the registration date of California is kinda suspicious, it was registred in 2017 with other LFL tracks... And I really hope that they kept the tracks because I remember Miles said that there are enough songs for one album.

So lana had the tracklisting for btd ready by sometime on sept 2011 - think this strengthen my theory that driving in cars (and maybe u can be the boss) were leaked by lana herself… why? I think Because she knew her label won’t let her use those songs so that leave the songs with no purpose… so might well just let the fans hear it (bc it wont be on the album anyways so it’s fine if they want to hear these leaked songs)
