Ikr? I need a Frank Ocean collab asap. I think Lana and him would work like a charm. That said, that guy seems to have given up on music all together, so it'll likely never happen. But just imagine a Cinnamon Girl type of collab with Frank Ocean's higher vocals, and Lana's lower. It would slap big time.

They're the same user who alleged Lana had something planned for Katy Perry's release (tomorrow) and then denied saying it. I think they're just trolling. If Lana plans to release 2 singles by end of the year, then it seems reasonable single #1 has to be coming by mid-October at the latest so the 2 songs each have their time to shine. I do think we're getting close to the first single release, though

I want her to do whatever she wants to do, no matter how frustrating any changes are or seem to us. That's how good music is made. I don't mind collaborations. I don't expect more than 3-4 songs I like per album from any artist, so if there's more than that, great. If there's less, I'll cope. I'd prefer to see her work with someone other than JA, but that's just my preference. Viva Lana! She's had a terrific, high-profile two years, hopefully, whatever comes next will only build on all her effort and hard work.

came across the podcast with Katya & Cosmo aka Queen of Melrose the Lana discussion is VERY brief, but at the 11 minute 50 second mark, they begin a small chat about how Lana's sister Chuck Grant came into the store once to get some dresses (assuming for LDR?) and was on the phone with Lana and asked if Cosmo wanted to speak to Lana and Lana said she was a huge fan of Cosmo!!!! this made me smile, I love Cosmo so so much and found them from the YouTube account Soft White Underbelly. kinda interesting!

Belated Honeymoon anniversary post incoming...,. The title track and Terrence Loves You are two of her most beautiful songs. My life was so fucking crazy and bad when Honeymoon was coming out but the gorgeous piano, synths, vocals and songwriting rly ended up overwriting and defining that period of my life. I also think it really solidified a lot of her artistry with the whole sultry mysterious songwriter thing, and also as a beautiful vocalist and talented lyricist. It was less well-received than the last two albums but really confirmed her as an artist that wasn't just necessarily doing what was palatable & chart-worthy. Bonus thoughts: Honeymoon sounds best on the hottest days of the year. This album's bridges are some of the best in her career. The demos are fkn immaculate, Freak demo bridge forever, marry me marry me etc. I miss her Nina Simone covers as album closers so bad. BRING BACK UO EXCLUSIVE VINYL. And we literally both know it's not fashionable to love me like omfg
